Cinderella never had to deal with this crap.

Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily-ever-after? Meanwhile, Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and . . . yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes---or at least, a certain deliciously hunky billionaire---maybe do exist.

Except Brock Wellington isn't anyone's dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk---even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it's karmic retribution that he's tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can't have. But while they can't have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy . . .

The Bachelor Auction #1

Sometimes,in life, something huge can happen for you..Something like a fairytale that can come true..But what if this time this fairytale is about a girl whose life wasn't good at all,a girl who transformed into Cinderella..A girl who found her prince. But what if life isn't easy at all?

This book was good and it had an interesting story. It was a little heartbreaking ,but at the same time it was beautiful. It had a lot of ups and downs,it had a lot of bad moments where i wanted to shake some sense into the characters, because they were making me a little angry, but after all the things that happened the end of the book was perfect.

I never thought a book can drive me nearly insane, but well,it is what it is.Why?Because there were a few character that i disliked a lot.The rest?Fun and very interesting.

Jane's life twisted upside down from the moment her parents died and she had to take care of her two older sister. But Jane isn't treated like a sister, but like a maid, someone who was there just to take care of everything:laundry, meals, cleaning and all.But what if everything changes for her? What if life decides that Jane had enough of that ?What if Jane deserves so much more?It turns out that Cinderella finds her prince,at all costs.
From the moments his parents died,Brock decided that he won't tell no again.Between the guilt he was feeling, his twin brothers and his grandfather,Brock never thought about his happiness or how his life should be.He did everything his grandfather wanted. He did everything for his twin brothers. But what about him ?When his grandfather decides to have an auction ,to auction Brock,Brock accepts..Why?Because Brock can't say no.Until Cinderella.

This book was a little crazy and a bit too much for me.Why it nearly drove me insane?Because of that damn auction and because i couldn't find the truth about what was haunting the twin brothers so much.Yeah,i noticed that, even if i was focussed on Brock and Jane's love life.It seems that i'm a sucker for things like things, things that make me want to read again this book to see if i didn't see some clues about the Wellington brothers.

I'm a big fan of knights in shining armour and all the jazz, but i almost gave up on that thought. Why?Because at first Brock wasn't how i thought he will be..And honest to God,i wanted to shake some sense in him.Yup,that changed..Really,really changed. And i'm damn happy to say this:Brock transformed and he became the knight in shining armour..The Prince.
And Jane?I liked her and it made me sad the fact that her sisters were mean to her.But once things started to change for her ,i thought that Jane's life will start to become exactly what she deserved:Happy,a true fairytale..SOmething good.Something true.

Brock's twin brothers? They were a mistery.Something wrapped so tight, and you could try all you want to find out what was hiding inside, but you will never succede. Why?Because the Wellington brothers were full of pain and memories that haunt them.Yet,Brant and Bentley were both charming and handsome, two boys who were trying to hide the pain behind masks.I can't wait to find more about them.

Beautiful and interesting,a true fairytale about two haunted people ,two people who find happines when they didn't expect.

A Dante-ish descent through a sinister world of decadent shadows and woeful souls…
Seven years ago, he shattered her life. The town eventually forgot the headlines and the nightmares. But 23-year old music student Angelica hasn’t forgotten.
For the past seven years, she’s contemplated payback with as much intensity and unwavering faith as she puts into her violin playing. Finally, all the pieces are in place. Over the course of one night, disguised for a masquerade ball, Angelica orchestrates a journey of revenge.

Short Review:

This book? Well,i have to admit that i was a little confused at the beginning, because i didn't understand what was happening or what this book was about. But ,step by step everything changed and i started to understand what was happening. It was fascinating and i admit that i was to intrigued,so i didn't stop reading until the end.
I'm not a musician,i don't know much about their lifes and spectacles ,but the way a small part of a musician life was described in this book was fascinating. Yet,nothing compares with what a mother is capable of doing for her child, especially a mother whose child was taken form her.

This short novella wasn't simple at all. It had an interesting story and good character, especially the main one,Angelica Parker. Even if i didn't have the chance to read a lot about her,she was strong and determined to get her own revenge. Talented and stubborn. Strong, but at the same time weak. A woman whose life was turned upside down.

Too bad this wasn't a full book, because i want to know more about what happened with Angelica's child and everything else.

Interesting and fascinating.
