When a mysterious stranger is your only hope...
The scars of the past have left their mark, both physical and emotional, on former military pilot Seth Erickson. Off-grid in the far reaches of the bitter Alaskan wilderness, he wants only to be left alone with his ghosts. But he can’t ignore a woman in need—beautiful, stranded and nearly frozen with fear.
Summer Silva never imagined that the search for her missing sister would leave her abandoned on a wintry back road, barely escaping with her life from a cold-blooded killer for hire. Now, hiding out in the isolated cabin of the secretive wounded warrior who saved her, Summer knows she must do what she fears most. Putting her trust in a stranger is all she has left.
All defenses are down
After a fiery first night together, Seth and Summer are bound by a need as powerful as a Bering Sea superstorm—and vulnerable to enemies just as fierce. For Seth, reawakened by desire, there is no sacrifice too great, no memory too dark, to keep Summer safe. But murder and treason lurk everywhere and Summer may not survive Alaska’s ruthless winter.

Together, two strangers from different worlds and opposite spectrums of the thermometer must unravel the intrigues that threaten their lives to chase after a new dream, together, in majestic Alaska.
When i started reading this book i didn't know what to expect.Being the second book ,written by this author, that i've read so far,i can honestly say that it was good and that i loved how the story evolved.
Step by step ,i started to enjoy reading about Seth and Summer, expecially because of the way things was happening between them. They were two people who never expected to meet, two people who, once the got the chance to find more about each other, started to see that maybe they were meant to be together.Yeah,it was complicated, but there were a lot of scenes that made me laugh.
Despite everything that was happening, all the Erickson family drama and what was happening with Summer's family,i was trying to understand more about some things, things like sleepwalking and more.
Complicated.A little confusing.Full of ups and downs..Well,a roller-coaster of crazy events.
Summer Silva's life spinned out of control from the moment her step-sister decided to run away in Alaska. But what Summer never imagined ,when she went looking for her sister, that her life will complicate more and that she will find the truth about what really happened with her mother.Between find her sister and trying to survive,Summer finds something she never thought she will find:true love.
Seth Erickson tries his best to forget about the past, about what happened to him and the reason why he was trying to keep everyone away from him.But it wasn't as easy as he thought.Between that and everything he cousin was trying to do to him,Seth's life complicates a little the day she met Summer Silva, the girl who walks in her sleep and the girl who makes him do the impossible.
Caveman or not,i started to really like Seth Erickson.Even if he was way too protective and something he was acting like a lunatic,i started to understand the reason why he was doing all those things.Besides,it was pretty hilarious how Summer reacted every single time.
And Summer?Suprise,suprise..i don't know what to say about her.She was okay, made me laugh..but i hated the fact that she was sooo stubborn. But,step by step,i started to change my opinion about her and i started to think that maybe she will do something that will make me like her.Well,it was exactly like that.
It wasn't perfect, but it was a story about true love and about two people whose life changed when they met.Yes,there were a lot of things that made my head spin a little, things that it shouldn't have happened, but it was okay.

Anna enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and the sea. Writing is her addiction, her drug of choice, and what she wants to do all the time. The extraordinary men and women she met during her years as a Navy wife inspire the fabulous heroes and heroines at the center of her stories.
