Review:The Spiral Down (The Fall Up #2) by Aly Martinez

I was afraid to fly.
He made me soar.

After years of climbing the ladder of success in the music industry, I finally had everything I could want.
Yet I still found myself wandering through life alone.

Captain Evan Roth was the one man I never saw coming.
Tall, dark, mysterious… Straight.

We were both damaged beyond repair and searching for something so elusive we weren’t sure it even existed.

But, when two broken souls collide in midair, falling is a given.

I just never expected to crave the spiral down.

''It wasn't supposed to happen like that. But, for reasons lost on me, Evan could strip whatever disguise I attempted to hide behind. Fame, fortune, fear. He saw through them all.''

From the first moment when i've first read about Henry in The Fall Up i liked that guy,but now after reading his story i can say that i love him. It seems that i loved his story more than Leeve's ,it was pretty much epic and abso-freaking-lutely perfect for Henry. Many ups and downs, but it was an amazing love story about two amazing guys -two guys who had a bad past and who needed each other.

Henry made me laugh a lot and i have to admit that i enjoyed reading about the way he planned everything, the way he started to do some things so he could get Evan's attention. Funny?Yeah. But it was pretty much intense from the beginning everything that happened between them.
They both were amazing characters and it was perfect the way they were together, even if it was a little hard for Evan to accept what was happening.

His laugh. His randomness. The way he can captivate me from across a room. The rush I felt when we were together. It was the closest thing to flying I’ve ever experienced with my feet on the ground.

Henry Alexander has almost everything he needs:an amazing career, fame and money,a good best friend and he could have anyone he wanted. But those things weren't enough. He wanted to find true love..And to know if someone could love the real Henry, not the facade.
Evan's life turned upside down from the moment he was called from work to do the impossible..But his life turned upside down in a good way, because somehow in that moment he realized that he deserved to love and be loved by someone..Yet he never thought that he would find love sooner.

Those guys were crazy, they made me laugh a lot,but at the same time they showed me that everything in this life is possible. It was pretty much hilarious everything Henry planned ..But Evan's reaction? Well, speechless here.

"It's time for you to get used to the fact that I'm here to stay as long as you want me." I pressed a hard kiss to his lips.

Ups and downs, people! A rollercoaster of emotional and hard moments. Two stubborn people. Yet the result was breathtaking.
I'm not kidding when i say that i liked Henry's story more than Leeve's. It was more than i expected and it was really fun to discover the truth about the real Henry .

I never expected something easy and i'm glad that it wasn't. What was happening between Henry and Evan was something that it couldn't have worked without a few bumps and bruises.

Review:Priceless (Forbidden Men #8) by Linda Kage

Three things in my life were fact.
I needed Sarah to survive.
I needed sex to remain sane.
And I could never mix sex with Sarah.

I just knew—deep in my marrow—that if I did, I’d somehow lose her. All my deepest darkest secrets would crack open, bleed out, and ruin everything between us. I wouldn’t unleash the shit inside me on my worst enemy, let alone her. So she stayed strictly in the friend zone.

People probably thought I never went there with her because of her cerebral palsy, but f*ck them. She knew she was the most important person in my world, and I wasn’t about to risk hurting our relationship just to make my c*ck happy.

Until the moment she begged me to take her virginity.
Now it’s all about to hit the fan, because how the hell do you resist the one person forbidden to you when she says please?

--Brandt Gamble

''This right here—every single piece of you—is very precious cargo to me. If anyone mistreated it, I’d lose my shit. You’re not just my best friend, you’re my sanity. You’re priceless, Sarah.”

Recunosc, recunosc!

Review:Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices #2) by Cassandra Clare

In the magical underworld of Victorian London, Tessa Gray has at last found safety with the Shadowhunters. But that safety proves fleeting when rogue forces in the Clave plot to see her protector, Charlotte, replaced as head of the Institute. If Charlotte loses her position, Tessa will be out on the street—and easy prey for the mysterious Magister, who wants to use Tessa’s powers for his own dark ends.

With the help of the handsome, self-destructive Will and the fiercely devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister’s war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal. He blames them for a long-ago tragedy that shattered his life. To unravel the secrets of the past, the trio journeys from mist-shrouded Yorkshire to a manor house that holds untold horrors, from the slums of London to an enchanted ballroom where Tessa discovers that the truth of her parentage is more sinister than she had imagined. When they encounter a clockwork demon bearing a warning for Will, they realize that the Magister himself knows their every move—and that one of their own has betrayed them.

Tessa finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, but her longing for Will, despite his dark moods, continues to unsettle her. But something is changing in Will—the wall he has built around himself is crumbling. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa the answers about who she is and what she was born to do?

As their dangerous search for the Magister and the truth leads the friends into peril, Tessa learns that when love and lies are mixed, they can corrupt even the purest heart.

The adventure continues in the second book in the Infernal Devices series,Clockwork Prince. An adventure full of surprises, secrets, betrayal, but an adventure in which the characters evolve, moment in which those characters transform, becoming more complex ,up and down moments that are good or bad.Depends.

As soon as i finished reading the first book i couldn't stop myself from reading Clockwork Prince, because i was really ,really curious to know what will happen next with the Shadowhunters and with Tessa..But,i have to admit that i want more to know ,especially after the way the first book ended, what will happen with Will.
I was constantly wondering and trying to pin-point what could happen next with WIll,Jem,Tessa,Charlotte and Henry,if they will have a chance to catch Mortmain, before something bad could happen, but what i've read in this book left me speechless.

WHen i started reading Clockwork Prince a part of me wanted something easy and i wished that things won't complicate because of Mortmain, but the other part of me was really curious to know what he was capable of and what he will do next.Especially because how desperate he was to have Tessa. But,it seems that i got something more intense:the hard choice to choose between two amazing Shadowhunters.Poor Tessa.Usually, when it comes to love triangles i feel like i want to punch something, especially if the main character heroine ends up being with exactly the character i don't like(i know it sounds stupid..).YEt in this case it's more complicated ,because WIll and Jem managed to win my heart and both showed the fact that they loved Tessa and that both were good for her, even if Will's declaration was a little late.

Despite the love triangle, there was another problem:If Charlotte was good enough to be in charge of the London Institute.
Charlotte is one of my favorite characters and this problem was something i didn't like at all, mainly because Benedict Lightwood was the one who accused her.And the fact that Mortmain dissapeared wasn't helping anyone.

From the beginning untile the end there were a lot of surprises. Some good, some bad,but once again i was shocked when one member of the London Institute betrayed the Shadowhunters.Shocking?Yes.Did i expect it?Yeah.
I always thought that Jessamine's future was unclear.I can't say that i don't like her,but sometimes i got the feeling that her plans were different and that i couldn't trust her.Meeting Nathaniel Gray,Tessa's brother, made her change her path completely.

I was glad that things change, even if they didn't catch Mortmain. In this book i got the chance to read more about Will, about his family and childhood... about the reason why he left his family behind, choosing to become a Shadowhunter and why he was acting like he didn't care about anyone.Almost every single secret he was keeping hidden, even from Jem.Shocking or not,i was hoping that one day i'll find out the truth about Will and the reason why he was trying so hard to make everyone hate him.Even if i loved his attitude,i have to admit that what happened next was interesting and perfect.

A lot of ups and downs, unexpected surprises and,i could say:everything combined.
I was fascinated by this story, the way everything evolved and the way things happened step by step.I can't wai to read the next book, especially now that i know that a new Herondale memeber will join the Institute.

Noutati in biblioteca mea..+ o melodie pusa pe repeat.+ #Recomandare

The Maze Runner 1.
The Maze Runner 2:Scorch Trials.

Daca ati citit cartile:Ce parere aveti?

Review:Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare

In a time when Shadowhunters are barely winning the fight against the forces of darkness, one battle will change the course of history forever. Welcome to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a stunning and dangerous prequel to the New York Timesbestselling Mortal Instruments series.

The year is 1878. Tessa Gray descends into London’s dark supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying Shadowhunters—including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. Soon they find themselves up against the Pandemonium Club, a secret organization of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans. Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them...

Starting this series i realized the fact that i stepped into a new whole world.Mysterious and full of adventures, with fantastic and strong characters, capable of distroying everything or creating amazing scenes, scenes that make you believe that everything is possible, and it makes you want to know more about that world.
Even if i'm not a big fan of book written from 3rd point of view,it seems that i have some exception, and this one ended up being one of those exceptions.
I admit that i prepared myself from the beginning, thinking that maybe this book will be just another book with simple magical creatures and nothing else, but what i found it can't be described in just a few words.

Cassandra Clare managed to offer us an incredible world,a world in which the vampires, werewolfes, warlocks and demons coexist, but her greatest achievement are the Shadowhunters, the nephilims.Half human, half angel.Strong, charming and capable of anything just to protect the human kind, the way they were described was good, charming and very interesting.
I was fascinated by this story from the beginning.Because of the way it started and how things evolved step by step, transformind into a captivanting and brilliant story.

Tessa Gray's life changed completely after her aunt Harriet died.Being called by her brother in London, all Tessa wanted was to see Nathaniel again and live her life. But what she finds in Lodon isn't exactly what she hoped for, especially when things start getting stranger and stranger.
Nephilims.Demons.Vampire...and what not. Will Tessa understand that her life will never be the same again?

I liked Tessa from the beginning.I liked the fact that she was a strong character, stubborn and capable of learning everything. She proved that she was brave, especially in the beginning when she was the prisoner of some magicians, the Sisters Dark, and every time she was put in  dangerous situations. But i have to admit that some times her stubborness was annoying.
My opinion started to change step by step, especially when the nephilims appeared, mainly my favorite Shadowhunters:William Herondale and James Carstairs. They mamanged to make me fall in love more with this magical world.

William Herondale was described as the rebel of the group, the one who always has a smile on his face and looks like he is always in a good mood, but he os the one who has more things to hide. The type of character that fascinate me ,making me hope that i'll get the chance to read more about him.Charming attitude.Handsome.A good fighter. But exactly the type of character that ends up sacrificing everything for those who he loves.

The truth is Will wasn't the only one who caught my attention.James Carstairs(or Jem) is exactly the oppossite of Will, but he managed to win my heart with his kindness and simple way of being.Charming and handsome, but Jem can win your heart fast and easy.Same as Will,Jem is a good Shadowhunter, but he has a weakness that prevents him from being a fantastic fighter, yet that doesn't stops him from fighting.Even if i'm a little dissapointed because of that,i know what happened to Jem in the past and i can say that despite that he is an amazing character.Having an painfull past,Jem managed to surprise me until the end:he is the kind of character who never gives up,even if sometimes it was too hard for him to do something.
Question:How can i ever choose between them?Especially when they both are very charming and incredbile.

The story gets complicated, transfroming step by step into an aventure full of surprises and captivating moments.Sometimes i had to hold my breath, because some scenes were very intenses and i hated the fact that i couldn't pin-point what could happen next.
I admit that i didn't expect the way the story turned out at some point, especially after Tessa was saved from the Sisters Dark.I didn't expect the betrayal that follwed after everything that happened,or the way the action happened when those mechanincal creatures appeared.Yet Tessa's powers were the ones that fascinated me the most, even if she didn't know what she really was.

What i liked the most was the fact that from the beginning until the end there was a lot of actions, intense moments, suspense and a lot of things.A lot of ups and downs, especially when Tessa started learning about Downworlders and Nephilims.Even if her reaction was funny(i think i would have reacted worse then her),step by step the amusament dissapeard, because everything changed and evolved into something fascinating.

Besides those three characters,i had the pleasure to read about other amazing Shadowhunters:Charlotte and Henry Branwell, the liders of the London Institute. Two amazing characters i enjoyed reading about.A warlock(it wasn't the first time when i've read about him) named Magnus Bane, even if he was present just a little in this book. Those are the only characters that i liked and i hope to read more about them.
I loved the fighting scenes, the way those scenes were described, but what i loved the most was the fact that i could imagine in my mind how things happened.

I can say that this book is worth reading. The beginning of this adventure fascinatd me and made me curious, which means that i'll start reading the next book soon enough.I'm sure that i will devore that book, exactly how i did it with the first one.
Read this book ASAP!

Jumatate oameni, jumatate ingeri.

Viata Tessei Gray s-a schimbat complet dupa moartea matusii Harriet.

Intrebare:Cum as putea sa aleg intre cei doi?

Short Review:Hetch (Men OF S.W.A.T. Book 1) by River Savage

verb \ˈsāv\

1 a: Keep safe or rescue (someone or something) from harm or danger.

Synonyms: rescue, come to someone's rescue, save someone's life, set free, liberate, deliver, extricate.

Saving lives is the end goal.
It's a responsibility I live with every day, the reason I wear the badge.
Built on a brotherhood that runs deeper than blood, this way of life has become my very existence...

Until Liberty.

I thought I was saving her.

I never expected her to be the one saving me.

Short Review:

''You crashed into my life with your jacked-up vibrator, and your inappropriate notes, and you saved me. You saved me when I didn’t know I needed saving.''

This was something new ,something that caught my attention and it made me want to know what it was about.Intense moments, two stubborn and interesting main characters,a story full of ups and downs and a clear message: when something hard happens to you ,you have to open up to someone, not push them away.

I was one step away from giving this book more than four stars, but something happened and i changed my mind. The whole story was interesting and captivanting. It had amazing characters, whom made this book pretty good and intense, yet at some point i wanted to stop reading this book.I guess i started to feel like everything was happening too fast and too easy.I have to admit that i laughed out loud because of the way this book started, something that was main reason why i decided to try and see if things will change.

''Yeah. Like when someone doesn’t know their vision isn’t perfect. They think they can see fine. But the moment they put those glasses on for the first time, they see everything so clearly, so vivid. They realize how much detail and beauty they’ve been missing. That’s Hetch. He’s my glasses.” No one says anything for a beat, and I wonder if they’re thinking about having me committed. I smell, I haven’t eaten, and I’ve started talking in metaphors and similes.

Liberty and Liam are the main characters of this book.It helped the fact that it was written from their point of views,in that way i had the chance to understand a lot of things, especially about what was happening to Liam. Both stubborn and very determined, but i loved the chemistry they had between them.It was pretty intense from the beginning, even if the way they met was pretty hilarious.

It was fun and intense, with a lot of ups and downs, yet a true love story, even if in a way it was pretty crazy. Not really romantic or very emotional, but a hot-mess!
A true love story about two people who never thought they needed to fall in order for them to see the real beauty of life and love.
-A book about one man who was drowning in his sorrow, guilt and questions.always lying to everyone else, even if he knew deep down in his heart that he wasn't okay .Until her.Until she saved him from drowning.
-A book about a woman whose life was spinning around her job.A workaholic who didn't know that love was the best cure for everything.Until him.Until the sexy neighbor ,a SWAT officer who turned her life upside down.

Things changed, everything transformed into a hot-mess,intense and mind-blowing,but still it didn't change my opinion about some things.
I liked the fact that it made me laugh and smile a lot ,especially when it came to the main characters. They were pretty much crazy, but in a good way.

Review:The Fall Up (The Fall Up, #1) by Aly Martinez

I wanted to jump.
He made me fall.

As a celebrity, I lived in the public eye, but somewhere along the way, I’d lost myself in the spotlight.

Until he found me.

Sam Rivers was a gorgeous, tattooed stranger who saved my life with nothing more than a simple conversation.

But we were both standing on that bridge for a reason the night we met. The secrets of our pasts brought us together—and then tore us apart.

Could we find a reason to hold on as life constantly pulled us down?

Or maybe there’s only one direction to go when two people fall in love at rock bottom—up.

There isn’t a woman in the world who doesn’t have demons of some sort. No matter who I end up with, it’s always going to be a struggle.” I kissed her hair again, letting it linger as if my lips were able to transfer the truth of my words. “Levee, I’d like to struggle with you.”

I remember when i've first read the description i wasn't sure if i wanted to read this book, but i decided to give it a chance and that maybe it won't be that bad.
Well,it wasn't bad,but i can't say that it became my favorite.
This is another book that gives us a sneak peek about what could happen in someone's life, when that person loses someone important or when he/she feels like her/his life is too hard to handle. The story of two people who met on a bridge and who had the same intention, but just one of them was capable of doing it. In fact, i could say that this book was about two people who saved each other and fell in love, despite everything that was happening in their lifes.

“The perpetual free fall was no match for the way he made me feel.
I was still falling at unstoppable speeds – only, in his arms, as his body claimed me without a single word spoken, I was suddenly falling…up.”

Leeve Williams is a celebrity who has the whole world at her feet, but her real life isn't a good one. Dealing with everything is too much for her and her life almost spirals out of control. The reason why she was on the bridge that night. But everything changes when she met someone there, someone whose life made him go there, thinking about doing exactly what she had in mind.
Sam Rivers changes completely from the moment she saw her on that bridge, but his mind keeps reminding him what happened in the past, making him do exactly what she needed him do to. But Sam's fears could become reality and that's something that makes him fight harder for what he truly wants. But what if that isn't enough? What if..

I liked the whole idea and i enjoyed reading about Leeve and Sam. They were fun and pretty good characters, but i have to admit the fact that Leeve was a little annoying at some point. Sam? He was the only one who i liked from the beginning and the only one who made everything easier to read.

I enjoyed reading book and it made me laugh a few time. Yes,it had a lot of ups and downs, especially when it came to the reasons why Sam and Leeve met on that bridge.

“I slid a hand down the rail to cover hers.
It was a simple gesture, but it was easily the greatest decision I’d ever made.
That one touched destroyed a wall.
I wasn’t even sure whose wall it had been to begin with— hers or mine. But I would have spent my entire life tearing it down if I could have only predicted what was on the other side.”

It wasn't bad and it had some pretty good moments, but the whole message was clear and it made me think about some things. I loved the fact that in some way this whole book was like a second chance for Sam and Leeve. A second chance to realize that despite everything that happened in the past, the present and the future were more important. And my favorite thing was the fact that this book was written from Sam and Leeve's point of views, giving me the chance to know what was in their minds.

Review:Stuck-Up Suit by Vi Keeland Penelope Ward

From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

It started out like any other morning on the train.
Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.
He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.
Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God?
Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.
I might have picked it up.
I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.
I might have held onto the mystery man's phone for days―until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.
So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk's office.
I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.
I didn't expect him to text back.
I didn't expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn't expect to fall for him―all before we even met.
The two of us couldn't have been any more different.
Yet, you know what they say about opposites.
When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract―we consumed each other.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn't prepared for where I'd wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

“Don't be afraid to get hurt. It's far better than never experiencing anything earth-shattering. Even temporary joy is better than nothing at all.”

And right now i can't wipe the smile that i have on my face. Why? Because i freaking loved this book. It made me laugh a lot and smile like a lunatic. I loved the conversations between the main characters- they were the reason why i liked this book. It was impossible for me not to enjoy reading this, especially when it had two stubborn and  amazing main characters.
But the whole story was pretty much insane and in a way i can say that it was exactly what i needed right now, even if i have to admit that there were some scenes that i hated with all my heart. Still do.
They way this book started made me laugh out loud, turns out that that was just the beginning of an roller-coaster of emotional,swoon-worthy,sexy and intense moments. All worthy of my whole attention. Yet,at some point everything changes, transforming into something harder and huge, something that  forced one of the main characters to take a hard decision, even if that meant she had to break her own heart.

“Gorgeous, arrogant and pissed off?”
I chuckled a little. “Yes, that’s him.

This book had it all:sexy ,intense and swoon-worthy moments; betrayal and trust issues;new step into the unknown, meaning the whole story about him being a rich guy and her being poor. The whole drama with an ex(and that't what i hated about this book). But they everything twisted and transformed into something amazing? Well, that was the best thing ever.

Soraya isn't the kind of woman who complains about her life, eve if it wasn't simple and easy. No way. But in a way she has everything she needs, until she is forced to step out of her comfort zone, doing something that she'd never thought she'll ever do. But never in her mind she thought that she will meet a Stuck-Up Suit who will change her life completely.
Graham Morgan decided it was best for him to act like a cold hearted man, to guard his heart and keep everyone away from him, meaning he was acting like a crazy bastard without caring whose feelings he steped on. That until a woman decides to confront him, telling him exactly what she had on her mind. And the unthinkable happened.

“My stop was next, but I wasn’t going to get off. Well, truthfully, I was getting off on something else: this highly tense staring contest. It dawned on me that she was also absorbing the fact that I, too, knew her identity.”

Yup,i was annoyed at first, cause in a way i hated Graham. The way he was acting and the fact that he was so sure of himself. That means, that, yeah,i wanted to shake some sense in him. Really, really bad. But,step by step,i started to realize that it was more..That behind that cold hearted Stuck-Up Suit, there was someone who i could end up liking. And that's how it ended..With me liking Graham. Yikes.
Soraya? She is my favorite. I loved her attitude and the fact that she confronted Graham like a pro. It was fun and i really enjoyed that. Yes,she has done some pretty stupid things, but i know why and it was enough for me to keep my first opinion about her.

I love it when i find a book that makes me laugh and think that yet again i had the chance to read something good. Yeah,it was full of ups and downs, especially when Graham found out about his daughter, but i still think that it was a very good story.

I enjoyed reading this book.

Review:Winter (Four Seasons, #1) by Frankie Rose

A girl with a dark history…

Avery Bresllin took a leap of faith when she changed her name. As Avery Patterson, she is no longer the daughter of a serial killer. No longer the girl who was bullied and abused through high school. A fresh name and a fresh start at Columbia University means Avery can leave all that behind. There’s only one thing marring her dream of a clean slate….

A boy with a past of his own…

Luke Reid has a lot going for him: sex appeal, badass tattoos and insane musical talent. Despite his guitar skills, his calling in life has always been to serve and protect. A NYPD cop by day, singer in rock band D.M.F by night, from the outside Luke seems like he’s got it made. But falling for a girl whose father was accused of deeply sinister acts—a man whom Luke shared a devastating history with, himself—only serves to complicated things.

Pieces of a puzzle…. Four symbols, four methods of destruction. A trade. Borrowed wings. Dark secrets that threaten to destroy.

Author's Note: This book was previously released under the pen nameNikita Rae. There have been significant changes to the storyline and voices of the characters. The book has also been re-edited. Please make sure the original book is not already in your kindle library before purchasing! New Adult Romantic Suspense novel. Suitable for readers 16+.

Sometimes, when i don't know what to read next, i keep searching on Goodreads, always looking and reading description until something makes me curious..And,that's how i found out about Winter.
I had my doubts, but instantly i loved the cover and i had to give this book a try, because the description was interesting and it was obvious that it had to be something good.Well,i never expected it to be a roller-coaster of emotional events..but,it was.

Avery's life wasn't simple like it should be.Hiding the fact that her dad was considered a killer,Avery's decided that it was better for her to change her name and to hide her true identity, but once again that changes when she saw Luke Reid at a party, reminding her about everything that happened and with that reminder comes hope.Hope ,that maybe she can find the truth about what happened with her dad.Hope ,that maybe one day she could live without hiding ,without looking over her shoulder, afraid of what could happen. But what if it isn't that simple? What if there are a lot of scary things that could change everythin gonce again..What if?
Luke Reid's life is a living hell.Between trying to be a good cop and trying t o live with the thought that the man who helped him the most was considered a killer,Luke is determined to help Avery, even if he doesn't know how.But Luke has his own demons, demons who haunt him and make him wish that everything was better, easier and good..Still,there are many ups and downs..What if his demons are too hard to fight? What if telling the truth won't do any good? What if...

This story had many ups and downs,it was completely crazy because there were many hard moments in which i never knew what to believe or what to think about what was happening.Yet,i found myself fascinated by the strenght and determination the main characters had in them. The way they were struggling to find out the truth and the way the were trying really hard to keep believing that they knew the truth, that Avery's dead wasn't capable of doing something horrible like that.
I enjoyed reading this book, mainly because i loved reading about how everything was described and because it was a mystery for me.Yeah,i kind of wanted to strangle Avery sometimes, but i got past that, especially when i started to understand her reasons and the rest. And Luke? That guy was a saint.Honestly!Yeah,i know he has a bad past and all the jazz, but he was constantly there helping Avery, despite his pain, despite the fact that he was having a hard time himself.

I guess,i was intrigued by some things and i wanted really bad to know who was the real killer or who was doing all those horrible things, but i can admit that i was a little shocked when i started to read about Luke's past.Shocking truth! But at least he ended up being a good guy, special and very interesting.
And Avery? She was the one who had to suffer the most, even if she didn't have anything to do with what happened.Yeah,he was her dad,but c'mon..Crazy,crazy!A roller-coaster of crazy events full of ups and downs..Yet i don't regret reading this book.
