Review: Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan

When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.

Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY SAGITTARIUS. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

“I lost my heart to you. And, Bree, in case you're wondering, I don't ever want it back.”

Call me crazy if you want, but right now i feel like one.Because, honestly!,how did i managed to avoid this book ?Right now i'm overthinking this ,since it seems that i loved this book ..A lot!I might need to add this:i'm not kidding.
I have to admit that this was the first book written by Mia Sheridan that i've got the chance to read and i must admit the fac that it was amazing!A beautiful story full of ups and downs, heartbreaking moments , a story about two beautiful people, who despite the nightmare that were hauting them, they found a way to be happy-they found happines in each other. And it was incredible.

All that Bree Prescott wants is to find a place where she could feel safe,a place where she can forget about what happened with her dad.A place away from all those memories ,away from everything that could remind her about that night. But in Pelion,Maine she finds more than a safe place.
Archer Hale's life is a silent one, away from everyone.Ignoring everything and anyone. But the past is still present, making him feel that he has no rights and that all he deserves is to stay in the silence. To be ignored by everyone and live alone. But meeting her changes everything.Step by step..But what if that's not enough? What if those nightmares from the past will ruin everything? What if..

“Someday … when we're old and gray, I'm going to look at you lying in bed beside me, just like this, and I'm going to look into your eyes and know that it's only ever been you. And that is going to be the great joy of my life.”

This book was beautiful ,but at the same time sad.It made me smile like a crazy girl and at the same time it made me sad, because there were a lot of things that were hard to read. And this story was perfectly unperfect, full of surprises and full of emotions-an roller-coaster of emotional events, full of crazy and good moments.
Step by step ,i started to understand more and i started to like the way it changed, how it transformed into an beautiful ,twisted and complicated love story.Because that's how it was, from the beginning until the end, still it was perfect, that's why i keep asking myself why i didn't read this until now.

Archer's way of living was a little strange, but in a way i started to understand his reasons why to stay away from everyone else. The fact that he couldn't speak was the main reason, but there were a lot of things that were involved, especially the reason why he couldn't speak and the story about what happened with his parents and his uncle.Tragic story and really sad,but somehow Archer managed to survive and become someone who didn't trust anyone.Until Bree.

“Loving you isn't a burden. Loving you is an honor and a joy, Archer.”

Step by step i started to understand a lot of things and it made me think of the way everything happened, how Bree and Archer met, about how they reacted-how Archer reacted, because let's face it :Bree was rambling like crazy and it was pretty much funny.
And Bree?At first i had my doubts about her, mainly because i didn't know why she ran a way from home and what she was doing in Pelion. But my doubts dissapeared when i started to read more about her.She was fun and an interesting character.A little stubborn, but still..

Perfectly unperfect.A story about two haunted people who all they wanted was to find a way to move on,to survive..But at the end of day they got what they deserved and it was beautiful the way it happened. And if there were a few scenes that were hard to read.

“It’s like, the second I saw him, my life started.”

I'm not really sure why i love this kind of books.Maybe because in a way this books are about true love, about someone finally finding out that she/he deserves to be happy,to love and be loved..I am not really sure why,but this book was that type of book:the one where one of the main characters,Archer, finally realizes that despite the fact that he is mute ,he deserved to be loved by someone, that he deserves to be seen by everyone, not ignored. And i really loved reading that chapter ,because it was perfect!

This is the kind of book you just can't ignore and once you start reading it you have to know more,to see how everything turns up to be and how it will end.Because despite all those sad moments, this book has a certain beauty to it.
