Review:Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Review:

“You're looking at me like you fell in love with me."
"I didn't fall in love with you. I flew.”

I should start with this:I've read this book twice and i feel the same about it.Like all the books written by Colleen, this book was amazing, beautiful and at the same time heartbreaking.Well, the story is exactly like the title says: ''Ugly Love'',but the truth is that this book was mostly about second chances and what could happen every day in someones life.
Well,i do love books that have roller coaster of emotional events and ugly pasts, but i can honestly admit that this book made me cry and my heart broke because of Miles.

Tate's life changes completely from the moment she decided to move in with her brother,Corbin. She never thought that she will meet someone there, someone who will change her life completely, turning it upside down and making her wish for so many things. But meeting Miles Archer made her realize that love can have many sides.
Miles knows that walking through life like a zombie is the only solution for him, because something bad happened to him ,something that made him think that he didn't deserve to love or be loved by someone.Being a pilot makes everything easier for him..That until he met Corbin's little sister,Tate.

And everything changes completely.

“But the second she opened her eyes and looked at me, I knew. She was either going to be the death of me . . . or she was going to be the one who finally brought me back to life.”

This story was really complicated from the beginning, mainly because of Miles and all the secrets he was keeping. The way he was acting and the fact that there was something huge going on with him,and nobody knew what.Honestly,i can't deny the fact that all those mysteries and what started between him and Tate made everything very interesting and really intense.I liked that from the beginning, until i hoped for more.Until i hoped to know the answers to my ''Why's'' and i wanted to understand everything.
Ups and downs, many ups and downs, because like i said this story was really complicated and the way things transformed step by step made my head spin ,but in a good way.Beautiful! It was really hard for me not to love Miles, even if i wanted to shake some sense in him and try to understand how he could do that to Tate, but knowing his reasons, well,i got to the point when i started to think like this:In order for something beautiful to happen, something bad has to happen first. And it did.

“There were moments I didn't care if I ever hurt again, because being with you almost felt worth the potential pain.”

Tate wasn't a bad character. She was smart, beautiful and amazing, but a little naive. The way she met Miles at the beginning?Well, that was funny and i couldn't stop myself from laughing. She had a few moments when i hated her a little, but the rest?Amazing and fun!Every single moment in this book was hard for her and i can say that a lot of things weren't fair to her.But she agreed with everything,so...
Miles?Charming, handsome, sexy and mysterious. Those are the words that popped into my mind after reading about him.It was obvious from the beginning that he was hiding something huge, but ,heck,it was worth every single chapter.

A pilot.A nurse.A complicated relationship between a man, whose past still haunts him, and a woman ,who wants more than he could give. This book was amazing from the beginning until the end.It had good characters that made everything better and special. But my whole attention was focused on Miles and Tate. The rest?Well,i know a little about the rest,so i guess, yeah,i paid attention.
Even if my heart broke, even if i cried at the end of this book,i still think that it was beautiful and that this was a true love story.Complicated, intense ,sexy and full of amazing characters.Worth reading!

Review:Ball & Chain (Cut & Run, #8) by Abigail Roux

Home from their unexpected deployment, the former members of Marine Force Recon team Sidewinder rejoin their loved ones and try to pick up the pieces of the lives they were forced to leave behind. Ty Grady comes home to Zane Garrett, only to find that everything around him has changed—even the men he went to war with. He barely has time to adjust before his brother, Deuce, asks Ty to be his best man. But that isn’t all Deuce asks Ty to do, and Ty must call for backup to deal with the business issues of Deuce’s future father-in-law.

Nick O’Flaherty and Kelly Abbott join Ty and Zane at the wedding on an island in Scotland, thinking they’re there to assuage Deuce’s paranoia. But when bodies start dropping and boats start sinking, the four men get more involved with the festivities than they’d ever planned to.

With the clock ticking and the killer just as stuck on the isolated island as they are, Ty and Zane must navigate a veritable minefield of family, friends, and foes to stop the whole island from being destroyed.

Review:

"I just mean..." Ty held a pent-up breath as he met Zane's eyes again. Zane's face was so sincere, looking at Ty in that way that always made Ty feel warm and loved. "I mean that all the experiences I've ever heard of in life...I want to have them with you."

Yeah,i'm addicted to this, because this story is full of surprises:it makes you laugh,it makes you smile ,it makes you mad and ,of course,it makes you wish you could shake some sense into someone. But,the most important part?It was abso-freaking-lutely hilarious and amazing.I swear that i've tried reading this book without laughing too much, but i couldn't.And there were times when i couldn't believe what i was reading, because when it comes to Ty and Zane ..Well,in every single book they surprised me with their actions, with everything they did and how they handled every situation. But,my god, every single thing they did it was serious and dangerous, and yet i knew that somehow they'll transform that into something hilarious. And that's why i love them so much.

In this book,Ty and Zane finally got reunited after Ty was forced to go back to the Marines. But that's not the whole story.Ty receives a call from his brother,Deuce, asking him to be his best man at his wedding, also to ask him a huge favor:they needed someone to protect them and Deuce's daughter,Amelia.Plus,Deuce wants someone from the Sidewind to go with Ty and Zane. But nobody imagined what could happen. What the odds are for a normal wedding, mainly when Ty and Zane are ivolved?
All those times when Nick thought he'll die in Scotland:

1.Nick found his feet and gave the island his own once-over, looking grim. “I’m going to die in Scotland,” he muttered.
*
2.“I’m going to die in Scotland,” Nick said under his breath. “In a kilt.”
Ty shook his head. “You’re not going to die in Scotland.”

*
3.They sat and stared at it as Deuce and Livi clambered out of the cart. Kelly leaned forward to peer up at the structure, then turned to Nick grimly. “You’re going to die in Scotland.”
Nick just nodded, his mouth gaping open.

*
4."Is this shit poisonous? Am I going to die?” Nick fumbled on the bedside table for his water bottle, gulped it down and wiped at his face frantically with a pillow.

*
5.“The theory of anyone who didn’t believe in curses was rogue waves. Ninety, sometimes a hundred-feet high or more, just sweeping in out of the blue and taking everything on the island with it.”
“Nick,” Ty said a little more forcefully. “You’re not going to die in Scotland.”

*
6.Nick glanced at Zane, then stared out at the cliffs again. “Nobody’s safe on this island as long we’re out of touch with the mainland. Everyone’s going to die in Scotland if we don’t stop this.”

*
7."Be careful! Think like Nick!”
Ty groaned. “Think like Nick. I’m going to fucking die in Scotland.

Once again i am a little speechles and still trying to process everything. This book was a roller coaster of crazy events, from the moment until the end of book.I can say that i'm a little shocked, because once again Ty and Zane manage to turn an usual day into something crazy, even if it wasn't their faults. But at least in this book i got the chance to read and learn more about Nick and Ty's relationship, but i got to admit that the whole thing ''I'm going to day in Scotland'',made me laugh so much.I mean,c'mon,Nick! He was repeating that like a crazy person and ,yeah,it was funny like hell.Everything that involves Ty,Zane,Nick and Kelly is hilarious and that would never change.
When Deuce asked Ty to bring a Marine with him he told him that that guy could bring a date,so Nick brought Kelly...And it was something-That was the part that shocked me the most ,because i never thought about Nick and Kelly like that! Not at all. But,me likes that. And very much.

Zane sighed. “I was so hoping this would be a normal vacation.”
Ty smacked him on the side of the head. “Don’t use bad words.”

Despite all the drama of what was happening, something was happening between Ty and Nick.I admit that i never thought too much about the friendship between them, because i never got the chance to read more about it,but now that i've got the chance to get a glimpse of that,i hated what was happening and how they were fighting. It was obvsious that they were best friends and that needed to stay like that forever. That fight between them made me really sad and i wanted to punch someone, but now i can say that i understand everything and i gotta agree with Nick.Ty was always too stubborn for his own good and that's something that will never change. And once again the secrets threaten to destroy a good friendship between two stubborn and loyal people.

“I love you, Nick,” Kelly whispered. “No matter what those words meant before, we know what they mean now. They’re ours now. Just ours.”

Right now i'm glad that i got the chance to learn more about Nick and Kelly. Two amazing characters whom where always there for Ty ,helping him and respecting him, even if Ty kept so many secrets.Strange or not,i always believed that there was more to Nick and Kelly and i hoped that i will get the chance to read more about them, about who they were and what happened to both of them. And now that i got a piece i want more!
Nick, well,i could say he is like Ty.Always alert and ready for something bad to happen.Very loyal and stubborn, but also funny. The fun part? The cranky attitude and the way he reacts when he is teased by someone, especially by Ty.In this book,Nick's past haunts him ,making his life harder and pushing him to take some decisions. His dad,the one who beated him when he was little ,is dying and the only one who can save him is Nick.Going in Scotland with Ty,Zane and Kelly, gives Nick a reason to think better about what he should do.
Kelly?Still don't know much about the guy,but in this book i started to like him .He was fun to rad about, especially when he was trying really hard to calm down Nick and Ty.But he was sweet and charming, mainly loyal and capable of a lot of things. And ,of course, like everyone else:funny.

For that matter, who would have expected dead bodies at a wedding? Ty and Zane, that’s fucking who.

Ty and Zane? They changed a little.Ty was more serious and a little strange, but i think that was because something happened to him when he returned from the Marines after six months.Zane?Relaxed and exactly the same, but he was acting like the weight of the world finally dissapeard from his shoulders. And that was the best thing.

I admit ,i admit!I laughed so much that i started to think that i will never find another series that could make me laugh so much.I love the combination between dangerous ,funny and sexy as hell that happened in this book.A lot of:intense, funny and sexy moments, but also dangerous, especially when Ty's claustrophobia was involved,or Nick's flashbacks.

But,i hated a little the fact that Zane waited soo much to accepted Ty proposal. All those moments when Ty proposed where romantic and beautiful, but  knowing everything that they've been through ,and even if i hate it,i knew very well why Zane refused the first times. But when he accepted? It was abso-freaking-lutely amazing!Especially, when i know that someone else proposed to someone else, and it was kind of beautiful.Heck, beautiful? That's just a word,my list is too damn long.

This book was all about family. This book was a way of showing how Ty,Zane,Nick and Kelly work together when people who they love are in dangerous and what they are capable to do in order for those poeple to be safe again.Ty and Zane proved that they can save each other. And now another couple showed me what they were capable to do for each other ,and ,of course, for Ty and Zane..Cray,but amazing! And it was pretty much my kind of book ,because it was a roller coaster of funny, crazy and dangerous events.Loved it!

Review:Touch & Geaux (Cut & Run, #7) by Abigail Roux

After having their faces plastered across the news during a high-profile case, FBI Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett have become more useful to the Bureau posing for photo ops than working undercover. Just as Zane is beginning to consider retirement a viable option, Ty receives a distress call from a friend, leading them to a city rife with echoes from the past.

New Orleans wears its history on its streets, and it’s the one place Ty’s face could get him killed. Surrounded by trouble as soon as they land, Ty and Zane are swiftly confronted with a past from which Ty can’t hide—one with a surprising connection to Zane’s.

As threats close in from all directions, both men must come to terms with the lives they’ve led and the lies they’ve told. They soon discover that not all their secrets are out yet, and nothing lasts forever.

Review:

“Who are you Ty?"
Ty smiled against his cheek. "I was an assassin," he whispered. "I'm a Marine. I'm the man who doesn't miss. And I'm yours."
Zane bit his lip on a smile.
“Who are you, Zane?"
Zane cocked his head. "I'm an artist. I'm a geek." He felt Ty smile. "I am one badass motherfucker on a motorcycle.

Ty began to laugh.Zane dipped his head until they were staring into each other's eyes. "And I'm yours.” "

Once again the past manges to interfere with the present, complicating everything and doing more harm than good.Ugly lies are revealed and hearts are broken. But what if the past doesn't have much power over what happens in present? What if Zane and Ty's love is stronger? What if..

Right now i'm barely resisting the urge to grab the next book and start reading it,because ,damn it,i did not expect that! And,seriously, this book was crazy ,intense  and ,yeah, full of surprises. It made me want to read it really fast because i really wanted to know what will happen and how it will end.Basically, this was the book were are the lies come to surface, making everything harder than it was, almost destroying two of my favorite characters-almost destryoing everything that was happening between them. You know how it is when there are too many lies-it shows you who to trust or who to keep in your life.

"I love you. You love me. We know what we have can be strong. Stronger."

In this book,Zane and Ty are forced to face the past and all the secrets Ty keeps from Zane.Everything starts with a call from Nick and from there everything turns upside down, forcing everyone to lose control or to make some drastic decision.Ty's secrets are bigger than anything-secrets that he's forced to keep and secrets he knows that could destroy his relationship with Zane..But being back in New Orleans with Nick ,Kelly,Digger and Owen,Ty's past can no longer be hidden from Zane..And things get ugly and really complicated. Why?Because of Liam Bell and Ty's real reason why he was Zane's partner.

Being a fan of this series,i hated to see Ty and Zane fighting each other. It was a nightmare, because it was heartbreaking to see them tear each other apart like that.It was heartbreaking reading about Ty's insecurities.about all his doubts about who he was or what could happen with him if nobody trusted or believed in him.And Zane?I never thought he could lose control like that.Oh my!It was pretty much an epic disaster-an heartbreaking disaster.
But..I still had hope that maybe everything will get better. Why?Because the love between them was stronger than anything,

"I know it. I will never be the man you think I am."
Zane's breaths came harder. "We've both been trying so hard to be worthy of each other."

Well, like usual there were a lot of intense moments between Ty and Zane, and ,of course, a lot of funny moments, because like in every book Ty's attitude was the one that made me laugh so much.It was fun to read about Ty and the Sidewinders, those who were with him in the Marines-Nick,Kelly,Digger and Owen. But those moments where the ones that reminded Ty of things that happened in the past and those moments where the reason why everything turned upside down, because being back in New Orleans meant that Ty and Zane had to face some things they thought they'll never hear about them again.Dirty cops and the Cartel.,
Harsh words were spoken.Hearts were broken. And many messed up things happened.

"Sometimes I wonder who I'd be if it weren't for them," Ty said, his voice a whisper that barely rose above the sound of the water.

Liam Bell?He was an interesting new character-one who was exactly like Ty in a lot of things:dangerous, smart and one step ahead.A version of Ty's,but exactly how Ty was when he was still in the Marines.I admit that i knew that something that there was something wrong with that guy,but i guess i wanted to give him a chance to see what he was capable of..
About Nick i knew before and it was fun to read about him again-being a part of Ty's past,he was the one that made me believe that everything was possible and that everything could change in a second.Kelly,Digger and Owen?I don't know much about those guys, but i liked them and i have many, many reason why!

''You told me one time that… I was your compass. I gave you direction when you were lost” Ty said, nearly choking on the words. He glanced up, eyes reflecting like liquid in low light. “Well, you were my anchor. You were something solid for me to hold onto. I wanted you to remember that”

Ty and Zane? The same crazy Special Agents whom trusted each other with their lifes and whom were capable of doing everything for each other. But,damn it!,this book changed my opinion about them-it got from i like them to i freaking love them, because despite everything -despite the fight and those awfull moments ,Ty and Zane knew that nothing could keep them apart.Even lies. And i knew that even if my feelings were all over the place,i knew that everything that Ty did it was for a good reason.

Betrayal?Check.Ugly past?Check.Many lies?Check.True love?Double Check and that's all that matters.

Books with Ty and Zane could never bore me.Why?Because everywhere they'll go danger follows and that means :action, intense moments, more truth and..i just love Ty's weird and sometimes cranky, but always doing something funny attitude and Zane's i-don't-give-a-damn-hear-me-now attitude..Or at least that's what i processed from them.Roller coaster! That's how it's always with this guys-a roller coaster of crazy events and emotional ones, but in this case?It was a roller coaster of emotional(from 1 to 10?It was pretty much a 10+) events, something that changed them and something that changed my entire opinion about them.

The real rating:6+/5 stars.

Review:Thoughtless (Thoughtless #1) by S.C. Stephens

For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.

Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source—a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes... and none of them will ever be the same.

Review:

“I want you. I choose you. It will be different this time, everything will be different. I want to make this work with you.” ”

It seems that even after reading this book twice i still got the same feelings, but i can admit that there were a few things that i didn't like as much as i liked them the first time.
Still,i have to say that this book was pretty much intense from the beginning until the end.It was full of surprises, ups and downs(those ups and down nearly drove me insane, because it was a little crazy what was happening) and ...Well,short answer?Roller coaster of emotional events!Yeah, that sums everything right.

Kiera Allen left her home and moved in a new city to be with her long-time boyfriend,Denny. She left everything thinking that their relationship was the best thing she had in her life and that living with him will be exactly what she needed..But she never thought that everything will change for her.In one second her life turned upside down..
Kellan Kyle's life is all about music and having fun.He is the kind of man that doesn't do relationship ,always being with another woman without thinking about anything else. But everything changes from the minute Kiera and Denny move in with him.

“I’ve never wanted anyone, like I want you. Every girl is you to me. You’re all I see…you’re all I want.”

Even if i am against cheeting ,this book was pretty much the type of book that i love to read ,because it had amazing characters and a good story-messed up,but good.
Why messed up?Because of the love triangle and all those crazy stuff that happened between Kiera,Kellan and Denny. And,oh my god, that girl was a blusher!A real blusher, because that was something that happened constantly and it was kind of funny. But Kellan?Well, hot damn!
This story is the kind of story that makes you love it and at the same time hate it,because of the way everything happened and the fact that it had a pretty much complicated love triangle and ,of course, because of the fact that there were too many lies.

Why love?Eh,the answer is simple:Kellan Kyle and his ridiculous way of making everything hotter and dirty.
Why hate? The lies and the twisted way a lot of things happened.

So..In a short way, this book made me feel too many things and it was kind of overwhelming.

“Love doesn’t exactly come with an off switch.”

Kiera Allen-beautiful,stubborn and a blusher. The kind of girl you never thought that will do anything extreme, but somehow manages to surprise the heck out of you.I admit that i liked her ,but at the same time i admit that she drove me crazy with the fact that she couldn't choose one guy!Well, let's just say that i had a very huge ''hate/like'' reaction to her,but step by step i started to accept a lot of things and it kind of made me change my opinion about her.

Kellan Kyle?Well, who could hate a character like him?Not me.And he was pretty much the reason why i started reading this book.Charming, sexy and very interesting,Kellan managed to turn this book into something intense and completely hard to let down.

Denny-sweet,good and ,yeah, very handsome. He was the type of guy every girl in this world wants and in this book he was too good to be true.I liked him because he was always sweet and friendly with everyone and he shocked me the last chapters of this book.Always good, too good.

''I’d done it. I’d successfully pushed away two wonderful men. My desire to hurt neither of them, ended up hurting them both”

The relationship between Denny and Kiera? Was simple ,sweet and innocent.Something  you can find in a faritytale-beautiful and at the same time simple. But the relationship between Kiera and Kellan? It was perfection, intense, hot and full of passion. It was like a fire burning that couldn't be stoped and it was the best thing that happened in this book.
Both boys were really different and amazing, but just one of them managed to steal my heart.

Can i just admit that the whole thing about a love triangle drove me insane?Everything gets too complicated and crazy, something i don't enjoy very much. But this time?I couldn't stop reading this book. But this book had a lot of good and bad moments.Twisted moments and abo-freaking-lutely hot moments. All those moments turned into something perfect at the end of the book and i have to say that everythin happened for a reason.

Review:Stars & Stripes (Cut & Run, #6) by Abigail Roux

Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett have managed the impossible: a few months of peace and quiet. After nearly a year of personal and professional turmoil, they're living together conflict-free, work is going smoothly, and they're both happy, healthy, and home every night before dark. But anyone who knows them knows that can’t possibly last.

When an emergency call from home upsets the balance of their carefully arranged world, Ty and Zane must juggle family drama with a perplexing crime to save a helpless victim before time runs out.

From the mountains of West Virginia to a remote Texas horse ranch harboring more than just livestock and childhood memories, Ty and Zane must face their fears—and their families—to overcome an unlikely enemy and bring peace back into their newly shared world.

Review:

“When the rain had hit the beach and Zane had turned to retreat to their room, Ty grabbed him instead and started a waltz in the downpour. When they finished the dance, people applauded from their balconies. It had been the first taste of what life with Ty might be like when they came out. It had also been one of the most romantic moments of his life.”

Where Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett go,danger follows, but it seems that even the danger couldn't stop them for loving each other.Still, even then they find a way to make everything funny, emotional and very hard not to love them.
Once again Ty and Zane found themselves in an unique situation full of:family drama,tigers,drugs.. and animal tranquilizers. It's not a lie the fact that the danger follows them everywhere, especially in this book, but, damn it!,a lot of scenes where hilarious and it made everything perfect, because you can't have a dangerous situations without funny moments ,right?Especially when it comes to Ty Grady and Zane Garrett.

This time Zane and Ty had to out themselves to those who they love most, their parents. as a gay couple, but not all of them are happy about that.In between that,a situation appears at Carter and Garrett farm ranch, the one that belongs to Zane's parents ..A situation that needs Zane's attention, and ,of course,Ty's.And here begins the fun!But nobody thought that tigers will be involved ,something that makes Ty do things he never thought he'll ever do.

“Are you ready to go home, my love?”
Zane bit his lip and nodded. “I’m ready for anything.”
Ty’s grin was slow and mischievous. “I certainly hope so.”

Good God,this book was full of surprises and i have to admit that i enjoyed every single chapter. It was pretty much hilarious and it was the perfect twist between amusament and danger, that's why i loved it.
There were many ups and downs-steps that were hard enough for both Ty and Zane, but somehow they managed to go through those steps together and solve everything that happened at the farm .
Once again the proved that their love was strong enough to face everything.Even Zane's mother,a character that i hate with all my heart,
Still, things that happened in Ty's past come barreling in the future, making Zane wish that Ty could tell him the whole truth about why he left the Marines and what happened to him in Afghanistan.Things that Ty hides from everyone, telling them that it's classified, even if it's obvious that it still bothers him.

“I don’t know, Zane. There are . . . there are so many paths in life. Some we choose, and some are chosen for us. We walk our paths without looking down and that’s the life we lead. The only things you’ll get from guessing where another path would have gone are questions you can’t answer and heartache you can’t ever soothe.”

You want to know why i laughed so much?
1.Ty's attitude was the one things that made me laugh, because ,c;mon!,he has a way to turn everything in something funny, especially when it comes to Zane or anything else.

2.Ty's fear of horses.Yeah, that was funny ,because he thought the horses were laughing at him or they were talking with him.Oh,how much i laughed because of that.
“Come on, Elmer,” he said to his horse. “Let’s find a nice prickly cactus you can toss me into.”
***
“Ty, the horses are not conspiring against you.”
Ty crossed his arms and shook his head. “He looks at me. And he talks to me! And he knows I don’t know what he’s saying!”

3.Ty's reaction when he first saw the tigers, especially meeting Barnum and Bailey. He fell in love with Barnum at first sigh and it was pretty much hilarious, because:He hated tiger or should i say big cats?Yeah. *sigh*
4.The scene when Ty faced Zane's mother..Those were epic because Zane's mother was a cold hearted bit** and Ty managed to shut her up.I loved that and i love Ty even more now.And it was funny.

“I love you," Ty said out of the blue, his voice almost sing-song.
Zane laughed. "You're drunk."
"I loved you before I was drunk.”

Despite some things,i loved Zane's father and sister, because they accepted the truth without making a fuss about everything and they accepted Ty instantly.Something that i approve and liked a lot.And Ty's parents? Were the best, even if it came down with some punches and a broken hand after that.
After that?Reading about Ty with a broken hand and a cast?Well, let's just say that it wasn't pretty at all.
This book pretty much defined the relationship between Zane and Ty,they made them realize a lot of tings and helped them see that loving each other isn't wrong and that a lot of people support them.IT was a roller coaster of emotional events for both Ty and Zane, because they had to face the reality of what those who they loved thought about what was happening between them, and the attacks on the ranch, attacks that nearly killed Ty.

That's why i loved reading about those two :Because they love each other so much and nothing could tear them apart.Everything between them was intense, funny or serious,it made everything look like they were real and it was pefect.Danger follows them everywhere, but even then Ty and Zane managed to transform everything in something funny and at the same time beautiful,And i want more!ASAP!

Review:Armed & Dangerous (Cut & Run, #5) by Abigail Roux

Left alone in Baltimore after his unpredictable lover bails, Special Agent Zane Garrett takes his frustration out on everything in his path until he is ordered to Chicago to back up an undercover operative. When he gets there, though, he finds himself face to face with his wayward partner, Special Agent Ty Grady. They have to deal with the uncertainty lingering between them while they work to retrieve their intended mark, a retired hit man and CIA wet-works operative named Julian Cross.

Ty, once a marine and now an FBI hotshot, has a penchant for being unpredictable, a trait Zane can vouch for. Zane is a man who once lived for his job but has come to realize his heartbreaking past doesn’t have to overshadow his future. They're partners, friends, lovers, and the go-to team for unusual cases. With Cross and his innocuous boyfriend, Cameron Jacobs, in tow, Ty and Zane must navigate the obstacles of a cross-country trek, including TSA pat-downs, blizzards, their uncooperative prisoners, CIA kill teams, a desperate lack of sleep or caffeine, and each other. Ty and Zane are determined to get Julian Cross to DC in one piece, but it’s starting to look like it might be the last thing they do.

Review:

“Why a compass?” Ty asked. He hadn’t taken his eyes off Zane’s yet.
Zane smiled and ran his thumb across the pendant. “Because you gave me direction when I was lost. You showed me the way.” He looked up to meet Ty’s eyes. “You’re like my very own compass.”

Now i remember completely why i started reading this series and the reason why i love Ty and Zane. They made me laugh out loud a lot and it was fun reading about they journey.Fun,intense and hot ,pretty much crazy and..of course,a perfect adventure for two agents whose life was twisted beetwen trying to stay alive and trying to hide what was happening between them.
If i find a book that makes me laugh so much it means that i want more and it's true!i loved it.

Once again Special Agent Ty Grady and Special Agent Zane Garrett are forced to deal with what is coming when they are assigned to a mission without knowing that they are going to be partners, but Zane's feelings are all over the places after Ty up and left him, without telling him why or if he was coming back. The main reason:Ty's tendecies to run after something major is happening, something like admiting his feeling or if he felt like he might blow up.

“Goddammit!” Zane lashed out without warning and hit the water bottle, sending it skidding across the carpet and splattering at Julian’s feet. “I’m gonna end up in the fucking madhouse because of you!” He reached out and grabbed Ty’s wrist, pulling him closer. “Loving you is going to make me fucking insane! I said no, and I mean it!”

Despite the situation, despite what the mission was about,Ty and Zane finally got the chance to talk about them and what was going to happen. It was pretty funny ,because i have to admit that i'm still wondering how two different guys like them could be together:Ty:sarcastic, always shoot-first-ask-questions-later,easy to get angry, but usual he had very good ideas.Zane?Calm, always two-step-ahead and the one who could calm Ty down, without getting a bullet in his head. But still, they were the reason why this book was entertaining and a lot easier to read.
I laughed out loud so many times because of the way Ty was acting,or when something happened and they had to lie or hide.It was fun because in each book i've read about Ty and Zane, they always were the ones who had to do something that made Ty cranky and ready to run, something was funny because he was acting like a little child who was one step away from stomping his foot because he wasn't getting what he wanted. In this case, they were hunted ,so i understand why Ty was acting like that.

Julian met Cameron’s eyes.
“I’ll die before anything happens to you,” he promised.
“That’s what I’m afraid of,” Cameron whispered.”

The mission:Julian Cross. One more reason why this book made me laugh so much. That guy was exactly like Ty and Zane.Dangerous, sarcastic(a little ,not much),always prepared for something, always ready to keep safe the person who he loved the most:Cameron, his boyfriend. But Julian's actions in this book were tactful and each step had a meaning, because after all he was hunted by someone who wanted him dead. But the one thing he had in common with Ty and Zane:he was in love and he was capable of everything to keep his lover alive.

This whole book was crazy. From the beginning untile the end. Why?Because the whole time i got the chance to see another side of Ty's:the antsy one, prepared to run first and explain later.Another part of Zane's:curious and determined to know more about Ty's past ,the answers to all those many why's behind the way Ty was acting. And ,of course,i got the chance to read about Julian and Cameron, two men whose life was turned upside down from the moment Ty and Zane appeared .Prepared or not,Julian wasn't surprised.Cameron?Poor guy.And he was too sweet and normal for all this.Perfect for Julian. And,oh!I almost forgot about Nick..That guy is still a mystery to me,but he had a a part in what happened in this book and it was good a part.Best friend, huh?Well,i liked him and now knowing what happened to Ty and Nick in the past, made me believe and hope that i will read about him again, and soon!

''Life is hard and confusing, Zane. Love doesn’t have to be.''

Why this book was crazy?Because it was a little crazy the way things happened and it wasn't easy at all for Ty and Zane to solve everything, especially with Julian's attempts to escape or the fact that they were being followed.
It's easy to admit the fact that i missed reading about Ty and Zane .Uh-huh!Crazy guys, but still the best Special Agents, even if maybe someday something will blow up in their faces because of Ty.

Review: Me Before You (Me Before You, #1) by Jojo Moyes

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.

Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.

What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time.

Review:

“Push yourself. Don't Settle. Just live well. Just LIVE.”

It's amazing how sometimes you find a book that makes you feel things you thought you'll never feel.A book that makes you laugh out loud, smile like a lunatic ,also a book that makes you sad and cry.A roller-coaster of emotional events that makes you appreciate everything you have and that makes you want more from life. Also,a book that makes you realize that everything is worth fighting for, especially if it is about love.

I've started reading this book ,even if i had a few doubts, because i wanted to know what it is about before i'll see the move. And,let's just say that they casted the perfect actors to bring Lou and Will to life.
At first i was a little unsure and i didn't know what to believe, but step by step my opinion started to change, because this was a beautiful story with amazing characters, especially Lou with her happy atittude and weird jokes.I admit that there were moments when i wanted to stop reading, especially when i started to feel like something bad will happen..You know what they say:The calm before the storm.I hated those moments because i knew they'll break my heart.

“You only get one life. It's actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.”

Lou's life changes completely in one day when she loses her job.Always cheerfull and full of life,Lou starts looking for a new job, trying everything she can because she knows that things at home aren't good at all.But what she never thought was the fact that she'll end up working for the Trynor family, whose son was stuck in wheelchair after an horrible accident.
Will has no desire to move on with his life because he knows that being a quadriplegic, stuck all day in a wheelchair isn't the best life, but meeting Lou makes him see that not everything is as bad as he thought.Still, will that be enough to change his decisions? Will Lou be enough to make him see that he could have a real life?

It was funny the way everything started. Will with his bad atittude and Lou's cheerfull atittude.Weird or not,i loved them because it was clear from the beginning that being near Lou nobody could have a bad atittude, especially Will. But once they started to know each other,it was perfection.

“All I can say is that you make me... you make me into someone I couldn't even imagine. You make me happy, even when you're awful. I would rather be with you - even the you that you seem to think is diminished - than with anyone else in the world.”

Will Trynor, despite the fact that he was in a wheelchair, was an amazing character-charming,funny,smart and handsome. The type of man who wanted to show everyone that nobody could take his decisions away, that he was capable of thinking about what was good for him and for others, even if that meant to take a very drastic decision.I admit that i wanted to shake some sense in him at the beginning, because he treated Lou awfull, but step by step i started to understand him more, but he changed a lot and those changes were the best things that could have happen to him.He as a man who longed for what he used to be..Still,that doesn't change what he was in the present.A strong man who, despite how hard it must have been for him to live stuck in wheelchair ,especially when he couldn;t move his legs and arms, was doing everything is his power to live.I can't imagine how that is ,but i know it couldn't have been easy .Hearbreaking.

The one that brightened this book with her cheerfull atittude was Louisa ''Lou'' Clark.A woman full of life who changed everything from the beginning and i loved her for that. She had a weird sense of humour and a weird way of dressing herself, but that's my point, she was different in every kind of way.Still,i admired her strenght and her determination to help Will, even if at first he treated her awfull.I loved her weird sense of humour, because it made everything good and it made me laugh, even if didn't want to.She was brilliant, smart, beautiful and a sweet girl, who wanted to help Will.A woman who wanted to do everything in her power to show him that life was more than he thought and that even if he was in a wheelchair,he had a right to live. She was stubborn and determined, something that i could see from the beginning.

“...I told him a story of two people. Two people who shouldn't have met, and who didn't like each other much when they did, but who found they were the only two people in the world who could possibly have understood each other.”

The relationship between Will and Lou transformed from the beginning, slowly, but at some point it was perfect, because i got the chance to read a little about how everything could be between them. How they got used to each other and how easy it was for them to talk, even if Will was sometimes a little too serious.
Despite that,a lot of things happened in this book.Lou's family was constantly present, always there supporting her, even if they didn't know the whole truth about what was happening and why Lou was fighting so hard to help Will. She had a lovely family,a little crazy and that was funny. But still the best parts of this book were those in which Lou was with Will.

But it was sad to read how everything was too hard for Will, how everything could harm him or how sometimes he prefered to ignore everyone. It was heartbreaking because it was obvious how much he resented everything, especially the fact that he was stuck there and couldn't do everything he wanted. At least Lou managed to make him laugh and think of anything else.Heartbreaking, beautiful and life changing.
You want to know why Will was an amazing character?Because despite his problems, despite the fact that he was trying to make everyone respect his decision,he starting trying to make Lou realize that she needed to live her life like she wanted. With no regrets.Like Lou,he was pretty determined and it was the best thing to read about:how two people ,two stubborn people were trying to change their life ,even if they knew that just one of them will get to do that.

“You are scored on my heart,Clark. You were from the first day you walked in,with your ridiculous clothes and your complete inability to ever hide a single thing you felt.”

This book was full of ups and downs, full of surprises and heartbreaking moments, but it was amazing, because it had a beautiful story about two amazing people whose life changed completely after they met.
And,like i wrote above and even if i'm repeting myself,i think that they choose the perfect actors for the movie,Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, and i can't wait to see the movie.

Review: Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan

When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.

Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY SAGITTARIUS. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Review:

“I lost my heart to you. And, Bree, in case you're wondering, I don't ever want it back.”

Call me crazy if you want, but right now i feel like one.Because, honestly!,how did i managed to avoid this book ?Right now i'm overthinking this ,since it seems that i loved this book ..A lot!I might need to add this:i'm not kidding.
I have to admit that this was the first book written by Mia Sheridan that i've got the chance to read and i must admit the fac that it was amazing!A beautiful story full of ups and downs, heartbreaking moments , a story about two beautiful people, who despite the nightmare that were hauting them, they found a way to be happy-they found happines in each other. And it was incredible.

All that Bree Prescott wants is to find a place where she could feel safe,a place where she can forget about what happened with her dad.A place away from all those memories ,away from everything that could remind her about that night. But in Pelion,Maine she finds more than a safe place.
Archer Hale's life is a silent one, away from everyone.Ignoring everything and anyone. But the past is still present, making him feel that he has no rights and that all he deserves is to stay in the silence. To be ignored by everyone and live alone. But meeting her changes everything.Step by step..But what if that's not enough? What if those nightmares from the past will ruin everything? What if..

“Someday … when we're old and gray, I'm going to look at you lying in bed beside me, just like this, and I'm going to look into your eyes and know that it's only ever been you. And that is going to be the great joy of my life.”

This book was beautiful ,but at the same time sad.It made me smile like a crazy girl and at the same time it made me sad, because there were a lot of things that were hard to read. And this story was perfectly unperfect, full of surprises and full of emotions-an roller-coaster of emotional events, full of crazy and good moments.
Step by step ,i started to understand more and i started to like the way it changed, how it transformed into an beautiful ,twisted and complicated love story.Because that's how it was, from the beginning until the end, still it was perfect, that's why i keep asking myself why i didn't read this until now.

Archer's way of living was a little strange, but in a way i started to understand his reasons why to stay away from everyone else. The fact that he couldn't speak was the main reason, but there were a lot of things that were involved, especially the reason why he couldn't speak and the story about what happened with his parents and his uncle.Tragic story and really sad,but somehow Archer managed to survive and become someone who didn't trust anyone.Until Bree.

“Loving you isn't a burden. Loving you is an honor and a joy, Archer.”

Step by step i started to understand a lot of things and it made me think of the way everything happened, how Bree and Archer met, about how they reacted-how Archer reacted, because let's face it :Bree was rambling like crazy and it was pretty much funny.
And Bree?At first i had my doubts about her, mainly because i didn't know why she ran a way from home and what she was doing in Pelion. But my doubts dissapeared when i started to read more about her.She was fun and an interesting character.A little stubborn, but still..

Perfectly unperfect.A story about two haunted people who all they wanted was to find a way to move on,to survive..But at the end of day they got what they deserved and it was beautiful the way it happened. And if there were a few scenes that were hard to read.

“It’s like, the second I saw him, my life started.”

I'm not really sure why i love this kind of books.Maybe because in a way this books are about true love, about someone finally finding out that she/he deserves to be happy,to love and be loved..I am not really sure why,but this book was that type of book:the one where one of the main characters,Archer, finally realizes that despite the fact that he is mute ,he deserved to be loved by someone, that he deserves to be seen by everyone, not ignored. And i really loved reading that chapter ,because it was perfect!

This is the kind of book you just can't ignore and once you start reading it you have to know more,to see how everything turns up to be and how it will end.Because despite all those sad moments, this book has a certain beauty to it.

Review:

Well,it seems like the second book in the Archer Brothers series was the perfect ending. And that's what i hoped for, because after all that happened in Here with Me,everyone deserved the perfect end.
I know,i know..Sometimes i don't make sens with what i'm writing,but i swear it's true!If you don't believe me then Read This Books ASAP!

Anyway..I really liked what i've read and i'm honestly saying that it was pretty much what i've hoped for.And finally i got the chance to read about the twins together, even if i wanted to shake some sense in them.Pretty bad! They were acting like children who wanted the same toy,but in this case that toy was Kyley, and it wasn't pretty at all.
Finally i got the chance to read more about Nate, about his feelings and about what happened, but still the story was complicated and a little crazy, because the twins were determined to fight for the same woman.Ugh!But..Step by step everything changes and with each chapter more things happen.

Now that Nate's back home everything turns upside down, because neither Evan nor Kyley know what to do.Nate's reaction when he first saw Evan after six years was hard, especially because he thought he saw a ghost at first..but that changes after he realizes what that means for him and Kyley.
But somehow ,step by step, they find a way to fix everything..Starting with the real reason why Evan and his team were pronnounced dead six years ago and who was behind everything...And ending with the truth about who belonged to who.

Pretty complicated and a little too crazy, this book drove me a little insane, because i wanted the love triangle to dissapear! And like i wrote in my review for Here with me i can't choose between the twins,so that means i'm team Archer brothers.Truth be told, how can someone choose between them?Well,Kyley did..but i know the real reason why and let's just say that it's better like that.

I loo-ve-ed reading about little Ej.He was the one thing in that book that made everything amazing, because the rest was too complicated.
Between trying to find the truth about what happened to Evan and his team, and between trying to choose one brother,Kyley's life was a little too crazy. And i have to admit that she was too strong for that.Huh.
This book was a roller-coaster of crazy events. One after one,and i got to the point where i thought that maybe those crazy event won't stop at all.
I liked that this book was written only from the twins points of view, because i really wanted to know what was in their minds, especially Nate's,because i knew how Evan was thinking.
There were a lot of characters that made this book pretty grate:Kyley's parents,Olivia,EJ,Tucker McCoy,River and Cara.Amazing characters that were present from the beginning .

There were moments when i wanted to find out the truth faster, because i was a little confused about what happened to Evan. But still,i liked reading about how step by step they found out the truth.About how Kyley started to realize which twin was the love of her live, and how Nate finally saw the truth about his relationship with Kyley.

Crazy or not ,this book wasn't bad at all, even if it had a love triangle.

Review:

“I was the firework. I was the butterfly. I was every analogy you could think of. I didn’t see stars. I became the star. My first kiss was everything it was meant to be and more.”

Oh,oh!Why did i waited until now to read this book?Good Question..And,like always,i have no answer.
Besides the fact that it was pretty much crazy from the beginning until the end, everything was ..Intense.And damn!Twins?Um,yeah..Who can ignore that?Well, ups and downs. That's what we get ,and let me tell you something:It wasn't bad at all.I say that because i couldn't stop reading this book and i really hope that the next book will be as good as this one, maybe better.
This book? The truth is that it wasn't exactly like i expected it to be and from the beginning i waited and waited for something bad to happen..I'm not sure why, maybe because i'm used to that-You know what they say:The calm after the storm. This book was like that.

Evan Archer life ended in the day when he was sent in a mission that it was supposed to be easy, but after six years he finally returns home. But home isn't like it used to be.Everything changed and what used to belong to him it isn't his anymore.Ryley Clarke's life was turned upside down from the moment she met the twins,Evan and Nate Archer, but what happens next is what changed everything for her.Being in love with Evan made her life beautiful, but after she was told he was dead,Ryley had to move on ,something that changes once again when Evan returns home, after six years of being gone.
But the bigger question is:What happened with Evan and his team in those six years? Why they were pronnounced dead?Because after all Evan knew what was happening with Kyley and his child.Everything but the fact that Kyley was Nate's fiancee.

“It’s how he made me feel. The sun was brighter. The clouds were bigger. The birds even sang louder once I met him. I know not everyone has that experience, but I did. He was like my daily dose of life.”

Um,even if i think there were a few scenes that were a little exagerated, everything was mind-blowing,and i can't wait to read the next book, because i really, really want to know what will happen! And ,of course,i want to know which twin will Ryley choose!
This was a little crazy, because honestly it was a love triangle(even if one of the twins wasn't present in all the book)..and this type of books are always too complicated, too intense and all the jazz! And add the fact that there was a child involved..Holy..Yeah.

When i said that i expected something bad to happen,i was talking about a fight between the twins or something like that.Right now i can't say on whom side i am,because honestly Nate wasn't present, but i liked Evan.
Sweet, determined, charming and handsome.I liked that about Evan, because i have to admit that he was acting like a man in love,a man who wanted his family back-a man who has been through hell and would go trough hell again for his family. But i admit that there were a few things i disliked about what he was doing. The pressure..

”Do I marry this man who has been everything to me for the last five years? The man that is the only dad my son – his nephew – knows? Or do I do what is expected, what you see in the movies and go running back into the arms of the man that I love, the man that I was told was dead?”

Ryley? How can i write something about her when she didn't know what do or how to act the entire book?It was pretty much what i expected, because let's face it:How a woman should react when the man she loved and thought he was dead ,returned home and she was someone elses fiancee?Crazy!Especially in this case. But besides that she was an okay character.Pretty much like a normal woman, but her life was turned upside down again and again.Yikes.

My feelings?All over the place!Why?
1.Because at first i was a little confused and i didn't know what to belive.
2.Because it was obvious what was happening between Evan and Kyley.
3.Because EJ was sooo cute and a perfect replica of Evan.
4.Because Nate wasn't present in this book ..Something that i wanted to changed and it did..But at the end of the book!And,BANG,cliff-hanger.Pfft.
5.And because i don't think i can choose a side..Team Archer brothers..Maybe,but first i have to read the second book.

"Seeing my son in the flesh for the first time is indescribable. When he was standing there holding Ryley’s hand, I wanted to break down and cry. I’m not ashamed to admit it. I wanted to sob like a damn baby because my chest hurt."

From the beginning i knew that this book won't be boring at all and that i'll get the chance to read a little about what happened in the past between Nate,Kyley and Evan.About how everything started and that made everything better.
I'm still wondering, even if i got the chance to read a little about Nate's reaction, did he knew about what happened to Evan?Hmm.Anyway, soemthing huge will happen soon and it won't be pretty at all.And i can't wait to read it ASAP!
