“Tristan was silent for a few moments, looking at the leaves before them. "Life isn't about the past and the future. It's about today." He paused. "It's about five minutes from now and two seconds ago. It's moments, you know? Not years. Years aren't what define us.”

Review:Soulless (King, #4) by T.M. Frazier

The finale to Bear and Thia's epic love story.

“Love isn’t about wanting a hero, it’s about wanting to be one for the other person.”

Bear and Ti..Despite the fact that i am a little sad that this was the end,i must admit that i loveed the way it ended. This book was pretty much crazy from the beginning until the end.Crazy in a good way!But still..I want more.Too bad it was the end.
I almost fell of my chair a few times, because honestly,Bear's action and reactions where too intense.I mean,C'mon!,he was always angry and determined to end this,so yeah..On a scale from 1 to 10 in intense matters?Definitly,he was a 10.A pro.

My point?Once i started reading i couldn't stop!I loved the first book, the way it started and the way Bear and Ti connected, but now, after reading what happened next? One word:Perfection.
There were a few scenes when i thought that i was a little bit too much, but i got past them and i found a way to understand them completely.

Bear and Ti's story ends up with a loud BANG,because everything changes completely and nobody could have stoped that.THis book starts with Bear in prison, trying to find a way to survive and trying to find a way to get out..But what he never expected was something huge to happen, something that gave him hope, something that made him realize that maybe he still got a chance to save himself,Tia and the Beach Bastards.Meahwhile,Ti's patience is running low, making her do things she shouldn't do..But everything turns up exactly like it should.
Despite everything that happened,i have add, like right now,the fact that i'm sooo glad that Ray and King were a part of this book from the beginning.I think that it wouldn't have been the same without them.ANd Jake and Abby?Even if i didn't read their story ,i know that i liked them enough, and (runs and puts those books and them on the ''must read '' list ) i'll change that ASAP,because they seem really interesting.

“Bear was as beautiful as he was hard. He was as complex as he was simple. He was both the storm and the calm. The fear and the solace. The rage and the peace.
My life and my love.”

And back to Ti and Bear.Beside the fact that they were a little crazy, there were moments when i laughed out loud, because when they were arguing they were funny like hell.Still,it was fun and i enjoyed reading about them.About everything that happened and the way things turned up .

Ti and Bear, two stubborn people, who never knew when to give up when it comes to one of them-that's the way i can describe them, because those characters were pretty much badass, but at the same crazy.Still,i liked how they were when they were together. It was fun reading about how Bear's characters transformed step by step, and he wasn't the same guy he was at he end of the Tyrant book. And Ti?Step by step, she started to shock me and impress me at the same time, even if she did a few stupid things i hope she wouldn't do.However, everything turned up perfect. And i loved the name Bear choose for the new Club.It was better than Beach Bastard-a lot better.

“Home is where you feel the most like yourself. Home is the thing that makes you happiest during this very short life.
The person who makes you happiest.
I’d never known what a real home was, and now that I’d found it, I was never letting it go.”

And..I'm shocked, because i never expected this book to end like that.I mean,Seriously? It is true?I hope that what i've read is true.Honestly,it's true, right? *sigh*
And Grace?I loved that woman from the beginning ,she was sweet and very blunt, but at least i am happy that i got the chance to read about her.
Even if i am a little sad that another favorite series of mine ended ,i'm glad that i got the chance to read it.It was worth it and i enjoyed reading every single chapter, every single word.

Review:The Power (Titan, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

With any great change, there is always strife, and the Covenant University has become the frontline between pure-bloods who want the Breed Order reinstated and the half-bloods who want the right to control their own destinies.
Fate has other plans.

The violence is escalating and war between the races seems inevitable, and it couldn’t come at a worse time. Hyperion may be out of commission, but Josie and Seth know they have only earned a reprieve. Seth must get Josie fully prepared, which means controlling her newfound abilities, and they need to find the other demigods before the Titans do.
But the gods are sensing a greater threat.

Only one thing is more dangerous than a bunch of starved Titans, and that’s an out-of-control Apollyon. The aether in Josie is drawing Seth in deeper, and when lust mixes with love and gives way to power, he knows being close to her is not only dangerous to her, but to everyone around them, but letting her go requires a level of selflessness that just isn’t Seth’s style.

The paths taken in the past are becoming the roads of the future.

Just as chaos breaks out, familiar faces from the past return, complicating the already strained bond between Josie and Seth, and when the danger from the Titans erupts with devastating consequences, the dark allure of power calls to Seth again, but this time Josie might not be able to pull him back.

And when the struggle between power and love becomes the deadliest battleground, there may be no salvation.

First thing i want to add:Team Seth, even if i never thought i will say that!

I wasn't always a big fan of Seth, from the first time i've read about him i hated him a little.Well, let's just say that the hate i felt for him started to fade step by step, after everything that happened in since then.
In The Return was the first time when i realized that Seth wasn't that bad,and it made me happy to know the fact that somehow he gets a second chance to show everyone that he wasn't the bad guy..and ,again, step by step i saw the real Seth. And ,i like what i see.Probably too much.Yikes.That doesn't mean i am no longer Team Aiden..Still love him,but in my heart i have a place for Seth.Yup.

This book was pretty much badass from the beginning until the end.Being back at the Convenant,Seth has to train Josie,so she could be able to protect herself or fight if it'll be needed. But step by steps everything gets complicated. The daimons appear. The Titans follow them everywhere..Seth and Josie know what they have to do next:find the demigods before the Titans..The best part? They are not alone.

Can i just admit that i love reading about this side of Seth? The one who couldn't keep his hands to himself when it comes to Josie? It was pretty much what i hoped that one day i will get to read about!Because this side of Seth is the kind of side every boy has, especially when it comes to a girl they love/like.
I loooo-ved reading again about half bloods, pures and Apollyons.About everything that reminds me of everything that happened the Covenant series. So many memories,so many things ..Well,let's just say that in this book i got the chance to read again about two favorite  characters of mine,Alex and Aiden. And there were Luke and Deacon.Oh my,now i realize how much i missed reading about them.Huh.

Anyway, once again this book was full of surprises and it was full of action, because we all know that when it comes to half bloods and pure bloods always something good/bad happen, especially since the rule The Breed Order dissapeard.Crazy, crazy things happen.Short answer:the pures are not happy. And that kind of makes me angry, after all half or full,it doesn't really matter ,because they all come from the same world.
There were a lot of funny scenes, and ,yeah,i laughed a lot.Something i love, because the book was amazing like that.

Seth-i know i wrote a lot about him above, but it seems that i can't help myself. He was badass and all the jazz, but there were moments when i kind of wanted to shake some sense in him because he was too stubborn.Even if i understand every single doubt he had,i still can't agree with him.Not at all!Step by step,i fell in love with the way he was acting when he was near Josie. He was acting like a man in love..Huh,who would have thought that Seth ,the Apollyon ,the one who once was acting like he was the best thing that could happen to someone, will find someone worth fighting for?Well,i had my doubts, but they dissapeard.Poof!
Josie?I really liked her in the first book, but now?Even if she was struggling to learn how to fight or how to summon her powers, she was starting to be a badass girl. And the way she was acting when she was with Seth?It made me like her even more, because after all i knew the way Seth was thinking, and it made me glad to read everything.

This book was pretty much crazy-from the beginning until the end, especially with the way things ended up.With the Titans and the daimons..With Seth. And ,sadly, with Sollos. But,it was funny to read about Hercules and how everyone wanted to kick his ass.Oh my,i laughed out loud because of that.
I admit,i admit!I smiled and laughed a lot,because this book was Amazing!
But..Now i am a little sad and angry!Because i didn't like the way it ended..I mean,i didn't liked what happened and how things turned up from there. At least now i have a reason why to want the next book ASAP!

Badass form the beginning until the end.Don't you DARE to forget that, because after all when it comes to Seth, everything is pretty much Badass!

Review: One Day Soon by A. Meredith Walters

**Standalone Contemporary Romance**

He found me in blood and tears.
I stayed with him through darkness and fire.

We loved each other in the moment between innocence and bitter truth.
We were the kids easily ignored, who grew into adults we hardly knew.

We weren’t meant to last forever. And we didn’t.

He ran away.
I tried to move on.

Yet I never stopped thinking about the boy who had fought to keep me alive in a world that would have swallowed me whole. He was the past that I buried, but never forgot.

Until the day I found him again, years after believing I had lost him forever.

And in cold, resentful eyes, I saw the heart of the man who had been everything when I had nothing at all. So I vowed to hold onto the second chance that was stolen from the children we had been.

Sometimes fate is ugly. Life can be twisted.
And who we are can be ruined by who we once were.

For two people who had survived so much, we would have to learn how to hold on before we were forced to let go.

“You’re not the same. Neither of us are. But I know that I will love the man as much as I loved the boy.”

You want to know how i'm feeling every single time when i finish reading a book written by this author?Like my heart is one step away from exploding, because this books are a roller coaster of emotional events, full of beautiful, but at the same time heartbreaking moments.Every chapter, every single page was intense and full of surprises.

Since this isn't the first book written A. Meredith Walters that i've read,i can admit that expected something complicated like this, and it was perfect, even if it was full of ups and downs, full of heartbreaking moments ,but the best thing, the reason why everything was perfect:this book was about second chance, true love.
Maybe,if you already read this book, you're wondering how can i think this book is perfect..With everything that happened, bad and good, pain and joy..Still,nothing will change my opinion.

Imogen had a plan to ran  away ,to see if this plan will make her mother notice the fact that she was missing..But Imogen never thought that her life will change forever, she never thought that meeting Yossarian Frazier would change everything and that would make her want things she couldn't have..
Yoss wasn't just a normal boy.Being homeless,he had to do things in order for him to keep his friends safe, but his secrets turn his life into a nightmare, full of ugly scars and something that with each day takes away a part of his soul. That until he met Imogen. But something happened, something that broke them apart, only to meet again after fifteen years..Will they get their happy ending?

“I know who you are in here. I trusted the eighteen-year-old boy who made sure I was fed. Who protected me. Who loved me. And I trust the man he became. Sure, people can change, but I see who you are.”

When i started reading this book i couldn't believe how stubborn Imogen was,but step by step i started to  understand her more ,i started to agree with her ..a little, not fully. But still,It was pretty much crazy how everything happened and i admit that i enjoyed reading about her and Yoss.

Yoss and Imogen's story is full of darkness, full of heartbreaking moments and need.Full of intense desire and wishes for something more, for something that could make them understand that they could have their happy ending..If only..

Too many things happened,it was a roller coaster of emotions that kept making me wish to know how this story will end.I got to that point, and finally i got the chance to add another book written by this fantastic author on my ''favorite books'' list.
Hard or not, this book was worth reading.

“Maybe after all these years I was still just that girl standing in the rain. Waiting for a boy who would never come.”

Imogen wasn't a bad character.I admit that i liked the way she was thinking ,but the best part of this book was the way she reacted when she saw Yoss again, after fifteen years.I'm glad that i got the chance to read about what happened with them when they met the first time, when they were younger. And Yoss?Stubborn, stubborn man. That he was.But despite that,he was sweet and amazing.Even thought his life a nightmare,he managed to survive and help other. He was the kind of man capable of everything in order for those who he loved to be safe .And ,hard or not,it was the real reason why he was amazing.

This book wasn't simple at all.And from the beginning until the end i knew that something huge will happen, that the other shoes will drop and bad,bad things could happen. But,well, what happened wasn't that bad,but still..
The way Imogen and Yoss met again after fifteen years, wasn't pretty at all and with that everything started.Step by step ,everything changed and it brought old memories.

This book was pretty much crazy, but i don't regret reading it.It was worth it.

Review:Firstlife (Everlife #1) by Gena Showalter.

Tenley “Ten” Lockwood is an average seventeen-year-old girl…who has spent the past thirteen months locked inside the Prynne Asylum. The reason? Not her obsession with numbers, but her refusal to let her parents choose where she’ll live—after she dies.

There is an eternal truth most of the world has come to accept: Firstlife is merely a dress rehearsal, and real life begins after death.

In the Everlife, two realms are in power: Troika and Myriad, longtime enemies and deadly rivals. Both will do anything to recruit Ten, including sending their top Laborers to lure her to their side. Soon, Ten finds herself on the run, caught in a wild tug-of-war between the two realms who will do anything to win the right to her soul. Who can she trust? And what if the realm she’s drawn to isn’t home to the boy she’s falling for? She just has to stay alive long enough to make a decision…

Firstlife- it was a surprise for me.At first i thought that it was okay ..Well,i needed to read more in order for me to understand that it was more than okay. It was absolutely amazing surprise. And i was completely intrigued and curiouse, because after 5 chapter i couldn't stop reading. Too bad that i had to sleep ,go to work and do other things. But at some point i managed to finish the book!Yay me.

This is not the first book written by ... that i've got the chance to read and i can honestly admit that i'm not surprise about how she writes, but the whole idea about souls, two realms ,first lifes and second lifes was pretty much a big suprise for me. In a good way.

In a way,you can say that i devored this book from the moment when i started reading about Ten,Archer and Killian. It was pretty much crazy, but i liked those characters. Badass! All of them where amazing ,but together?Well,a few times i laughed out loud- the tension between the boys was huge and the way they were acting when they were close to each other was a little strange and sometimes funny. And Ten?That girl was incredible. The best thing about her:she wasn't whining all the time or acting like a lunatic. She was stubborn and determined to keep her freedom and save her life..That was until she met Archer and Killian.

Oh..I forgot to mention what this book is about..Yikes. After Tenley Lockwood refuses do sign with Myriad or Troika she is sent into an asylum, a place where kids Unsigned are sent so they can be manipulate and tortured into signing with one realm. But despite everything that happened to Ten she still refuses to sign. But ,both Myridia and Troika want her,and they'll do everything they can do get her to sign. Between Ten's life in Prynne and what the boys had to so in order for Ten to sign with an realm,i started ro wonder which realm will be the one to fall first or from which realm a character will stand above and do something wrong, who will betray everyone?

When i first started to read about the boys i was a little unsure. Both were stubborn and determined to make Ten sign, but step by step everything changes. Killian-Myriad laborer. Oh,hell!I really liked that guy, even if sometimes he was too blind to see what was in front of him. But his irish accent?Heck yes! That was pretty much why i started to like him even more..That and the fact that he finally got the chance to so something good. Something for Ten..And ,of course, for him.Charming , handsome and badass, capable of doing everything in order for her to survive. Heh,that's what i'm talking about.

Archer-Troika laborer. Sent in Prynne to make Ten sign with Troika, but somehow ends up doing something else:he became friends Ten. He was amazing just because he was trying to protect Ten,even if he was trying in his way to make her sign. But what was important for me?The fact that he protected her with his life. I accept that. But like Killian,Archer was very stubborn. Ha. Crazy, but i loved him. Also,he was badass!

Yeah, well,i can't choose between Killian and Archer. I loved them both,but..I guess if someone asked me which one would i choose,in that case my answer will be:Killian.

The story was incredible and i got the chance to read something else, something different and unique. It was full of surprises, battle for survival, battle between the realms and finally a unique friendship fromed between the characters.(well, Killian and Archer weren't exactly friends but what they did together ..They were friends once,so..)
I loved the whole idea how Ten fought for something different-for a choice,so she could live her life like she wanted. After all she was sented in Prynne by her parents, because she wanted something different.
Sloane-i'm not sure if i should write something about her. There were moments when i started to like her and i thought that she will be a favorite of mine until the end..but surprise,surprise..My opinion changed. My opinion about a lot of things changed ,so i'm not surprised by that.

The end?I'm schoked,speechless,angry,confused..And the list goes on.
Why?Why?Why? And i want more ASAP!

My point is that the story was amazing and it had badass characters.A lot of ups and downs. A lot of surprises. And a lot of good/bad moments.
This book may not be perfect from the beginning, you may find it strange and you'll be a little confused at first, but step by step the story will begin to be full of surprises and then the fun begins.

Review:RoomHate by Penelope Ward

From New York Times Bestselling Author, Penelope Ward, comes a new standalone novel.

Sharing a summer house with a hot-as-hell roommate should be a dream come true, right?

Not when it’s Justin…the only person I’d ever loved…who now hates me.

When my grandmother died and left me half of the house on Aquidneck Island, there was a catch: the other half would go to the boy she helped raise.

The same boy who turned into the teenager whose heart I broke years ago.

The same teenager who’s now a man with a hard body and a hardass personality to match.

I hadn’t seen him in years, and now we’re living together because neither one of us is willing to give up the house.

The worst part? He didn’t come alone.

I’d soon realize there’s a thin line between love and hate. I could see through that smug smile. Beneath it all…the boy is still there. So is our connection.

The problem is…now that I can’t have Justin, I’ve never wanted him more.

Author's note – RoomHate is a full-length standalone novel. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

After reading the description twice(or maybe more,i don't really remember how many times i've read this description!..Yikes!),i finally decided that i was time for me to read it.And let's just say that it was pretty much okay.

Why okay?I can't really describe what i'm feeling right now about this book.It had many ups and downs, yet i expected everything to be more and it made  me want to pump my fist in the air and to yell :c'mon ,what are you waiting for?
Complicated?A little.A little bit strange?Obviously.

This story is about Amelia Payne and Justin Banks, about how everything changed in their life after Amelia's grandmother left her house to them, half to Amelia and half to Justin. But they are not strangers. When they were children they were best friends..until something happened. That something made Amelia run away to live with her father..

Despite a few ups and downs, this story wasn't like i expected.I admit that i liked Justin, even if his attituded was pretty much crazy. He was angry all the freaking time!Something that annoyed me a lot.And Amelia? The way she was watching Justin every single moment, was a little creepy.Okay,okay..From a scale from 1 to 10,this time i give it a 6-7.That creepy.
But still despite everything i wrote above,i've managed to read this book until the end and i liked the way it changed step by step..Mainly,that was because of Bea.Adorable ,sweet little baby who managed to changed Justin-he was less angry, more loving.Ha.

What i really liked was the fact that the whole book was about Amelia and Justin, about what happened in the past and about how they found out a way to move on ,to let the pain behind and find a way to trust each other.Everything was about true friendship..Yet,i knew from the beginning that it was more than that.

Review:Lawless (King, #3) by T.M. Frazier

Thia is prim and proper.
Bear is leather and lawless.
It will never work between them.
It's a lie they almost believe...

It is necessary to first read King and Tyrant to fully enjoy Lawless.

“I was lost in the moment. I was lost in Bear. I knew right then and there that there would be no coming back from it.”

I think my heart will explode after the King series will end..Well,maybe it might happen faster, but i don't give a damn! Why?Because i really love this books.A lot.

I have something that i want to confess:I wasn't so sure about Bear's story at first.I mean, yeah,i thought he was an interesting character in the books KIng and Tyrant, but he was a wildcard, someone who makes me think twice about my next step. That was then. Now?I am totally shocked and speechless, and i'm really, really, trying to process everything that happened in this book. And i might have to add another male character on my ''badass characters i love  and i want to read more about them'' or ''this guy totally rocked my world'' lists.

Bear's life is full of nightmares. After he left the club Beach Bastard,he choose to go away from everything, from every single thing that reminds him of what happened to him.Away from those who love him ..and away from those who want him dead. But what if something happens and Bear has to go back ?What if something huge happens and once again he has to deal with every single painfull reminder? What if..Those what if's tranform into something incredible...And everything started with a promise.
Thia Andrew's life changes completely in one day. After her mother tried to kill her,she does something without thinking twice:she tries to find the one who made her a promise when she was ten years old.Running away might be best thing at the moment, but running towards him might not be the best thing for Thia..At least, that what he is thinking..Until the unthinkable happens and everything changed completely for both of them.

“When you’re at war with the devil sometimes you gotta dial up a demon,”

From the beginning until the end i was fascinated and completely on edge. Why fascinated?Because it seems that this author knows exactly what to write and how to transform a story into something beautiful, but at the same time heart breaking. Why on edge?Because i never knew what will happen next,i couldn't imagined what the maing characters were thinking or what to expect..It was pretty much exactly what i hoped for, even if i wanted to strangle the main characters a few times..Don't ask why, just read the freaking book! You won't regret that.

Hard.Strong.Stubborn.Dangerous.Capable of doing a lot of things, in oder for those who matter to him to be protected..But in this book there was one word that described Bear the best:Lost. And lost wasn't how i wanted to describe him when i found out that this book was about him.Dangerous or not,i liked the fact that Bear wasn't a lost cause. It helped the fact that i've read about in King and Tyrant,so i knew what he was capable of,but still i wished he wasn't so broken. And it was pretty funny the fact that everyone saw what was happening between him and Thia..Especially King and Ray.Despite that,he was an amazing character and i can't wait to read about him..Mainly,because the end of the book shocked the heck out of me.I mean, seriously?!I want more ASAP!

“It wasn't romantic. It wasn't flowery. But it also wasn't lies. It was just us.”

A little bit naive.Strong.Stubborn.Beautiful.I never expected Thia Andrews to be like that.Impulsive and good with a gun,who would have thought that the one who will show Bear that pissing off a woman isn't exactly a good choice, will be her.I liked her, even if there were times when i wanted to strangle her because she was being so reckless.Yet,despite that,i still  liked her enough.

The best thing?I got the chance to read about King and Ray again.Yay!Those characters are and will always be my favorites.A little too crazy, but heck..Read my reviews for King and Tyrant and then you'll know why.
This book was pretty much crazy from the beginning until the end.Full of ups and downs, many changes..a lot of tension.A roller coaster of emotions..Yeah,my heart was acting like a freaking drum every single time when something huge happened. And the end?It broke my heart and i really can't wait to read what will happened next with Thia and Bear.

Review:Falling For Home by Jody Holford

Coming home was the last thing that globe-trotting photographer, Lucy Aarons wanted to do, but after work-related issues force her to return to her hometown, Lucy must face the truths she’s been hiding from all along.

Avoiding her too-sexy next-door-neighbor proves impossible. Sheriff Alex Whitman is not the same boy she left behind years ago. Realizing Alex’s steady presence is exactly what she craves, Lucy gives in to her desires.

Just as the fire between them ignites, so does the town, as Alex investigates an arsonist who’s hitting them both a little too close to home. As the circumstances around them heat up, and Lucy battles her instinct to bolt, the buildings may not be all that burn to the ground.

If you want to read something easy and sweet, then Falling for Home is the right choice. Why? Because this book was about finding true love ,and at the same time finding a good reason to belive in yourself ,when you think nobody else does.

Lucy Aarons's life is all about running from country to country trying to capture all the beautiful things with her camera, but one day the need to returne home is too much, and Lucy finds herself in Angel's Lake, her childhood home. But what if this time Lucy will find a reason to stay there and never leave? What if that reason is good enough in order for Lucy to see the truth about her life, her family..everything?What if..
But here comes Alex Whitman,Angel's Lake Sheriff, and Lucy's neighbor ,and the one who managed to do the unthinkable..But what if he isn't enough?

First,i'll admit with all my heart, that i liked Lucy. She had a lot of reasons why she chose to photograph the world and thos reasons where good enough..But,still..She was sweet and an amazing  girl, someone who was a little lost and who needed to know that someone believed in her. A little stubborn-something that i ignored because she was too good.

Alex?Swoon worthy,charming,sweet..The kind of guy you read about only in stories, but sometimes you really wish you could find him in real life. Yeah,he made a good impression from the beginning, and let's just say that he got many points from me for being a real gentleman.

This story was beautiful and easy to read. I liked they way it was written, from both Lucy's and Alex's point of views, even if i have to admit that i'm not a really big fan of books written in 3rd person point of view..But there are a few exceptions.

I enjoyed reading the way Lucy started to find more reasons why she should stay home..Especially when it came to Alex. They were perfect together and it was fun reading how everything happened step by step..And Lucy's family? Perfectly imperfect,at the same time pretty much how a real family should be,even if in Lucy's case there were a few secrets involved, the reasons why Lucy felt that she needed to escape from home in the first place.

Beautiful, well written and full of amazing characters-worth reading when you want something easy and fun.

Review:Tyrant (King, #2) by T.M. Frazier

I. Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn't.

When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.

I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else...

“I wasn’t about to wear white and pretend to be an angel when I’d lived and fallen in love with the devil.”

So,it seems like nothing could have stoped me from reading this book.I mean, seriously, the book was about King and Doe,so how could i ignore it?Not after everything that happened in the first book, and not after the way that book ended.Talk about cliff-hangers..Huh.Cliff-hanger end or not,it was worth it.because i knew it in my heart that Tyrant will be the best way to end King's and Doe's love story. And it was!

This book starts exactly how the first book ended, with King in a police car and Doe fighting ,trying to run back to King..But from there?Everything gets more complicated..And,let me just tell you something:i'm still shocked and speechless about everything that happened. While King was fighting yet another enemy who was threatening his life , Doe was forced to go back to her real life, where she had a child with another man,a man who was hiding something.A real life. But how much of that real life was true? Why nobody searched for her before? So many questions..But how many answers?

And now i have no doubts about how badass King could be ..And i still remember what he first said to Doe:“Because when it comes to me and mine, I am the judge. I am the jury. And if need be, I am the motherfucking executioner.” .Point made from the beginning until the end.

“In this world, there is very little I believe in, Pup. But I believe we belong together."
"You don't believe in God?" I asked.
"No, Pup. The only thing I have faith in, is you.”

A few words:Intense, sexy, badass, stubborn and capable of everything in order to keep the ones who he loved safe-those words describe King perfectly.Because it was pretty much crazy the way he was acting in this book, even if he had a good reason. But even if he was cruel, bad and pretty much a cold-blooded murderer,i got the chance to see another piece of King ,the one who loved someone so much and was willing to do everything for her, even if that meant the price could be his life.Speechles?Check.Loved him?Double check(again ,i couldn't stop myself..*sigh* ).
Doe?That girl was a true fighter, even if she couldn't remember anything from her past.Step by step ,i wished she could remember fast what happened to her..That until i got to those chapters where she started remembering ..My reaction was something like:Oh,no!Seriously? How?I can't believe that..Funny or not,i didn't expect anything like that to happen.Still, with or without her memories, she was still Doe,the girl whose life turned upside down after she met King..The girl who managed to tame the devil. But what i liked the most? Those chapter with Doe and Samuel, the way she remembered that boy,but not because she remember the past..Her heart remember him, because after all he was still a piece of her.

In this book we get the chance to meet Max,King's daughter.Such a lovely girl, even if i've read just a little bit about her she managed to win my heart .But she wasn't the only one..Samuel made me laugh because he was a cute boy and he did a few things that were funny.

“I'll always be here. You can't make me leave if you got the priest from the exorcist to come remove me. Cause I'm on step above demon... I'm Preppy.”

Reading this book,i was a little sad because a character i loved from the first book wasn't present. But at least he was present in King ,Doe and Bear's minds, always there to tell them something or help them see how things should be.Oh,Preppy..Despite the reputation he had in the book King,i started to like that guy,a lot,and it broke my heart when started reading this book, because i knew that he won't be in it.But..At least Bear was present from the beginning until the end..A true friend, that he was.But a lot of terrible things happened to him,so i really, really can't wait to read his story..Pretty please?

What i wanted to know more? Why the book was called Tyrant.I got my answer clear and loud, and let's just say that it wasn't pretty at all.So when i tell you that this book was about lies and betrayal, will you believe?Yes,it really was, because somehow a part of Doe's past ,the one who was by her side when she was a child, the one who i never thought that he was responsible for what happened to Doe.And Doe's family?Crazy!
This book was intense and full of ups and downs, something that i expected, but not like this.It took me by surprise everything that happened.Still,it was worth it.Every single chapter. From the beginning of the story until the end.

Review:King (King, #1) by T.M. Frazier

Homeless. Hungry. Desperate.

Doe has no memories of who she is or where she comes from.

A notorious career criminal just released from prison, King is someone you don’t want to cross unless you’re prepared to pay him back in blood, sweat, pu$$y or a combination of all three.

King’s future hangs in the balance. Doe’s is written in her past. When they come crashing together, they will have to learn that sometimes in order to hold on, you have to first let go.

Warning: This book contains graphic violence, consensual and nonconsensual sex, drug use, abuse, and other taboo subjects and adult subject matter. Although originally slated to be a standalone, KING is now a two part series.

“Because when it comes to me and mine, I am the judge. I am the jury. And if need be, I am the motherfucking executioner.”

It took me 5 hours to finish this book. You want to know why? Because once i started reading it i couldn't stop . Yeah,it was that good and i want more. Now!
Why i started to read this book? It's pretty simple...

1. Because i loooved the cover-the perfect description of one of the main characters(and my new book boyfriend, even if he  broke my heart a lot ,that guy was also capable of making me fall in love with him..Bastard.)
2. How can i ignore this book when the description is that good? I can't and i'm really glad that i didn't. This whole story was too good for me to ignore.
3. Tyrant better be the best or else..

Well,in a few words i described the Why's, and pretty much my answers were all about the cover and description..But now? Let's get the party started.

“King filled me so completely. Not just my body. My heart. My soul. My life. I didn’t give a shit if I ever got my memory back. Because with King, I knew exactly who I was. I was his.”

Even if it was love at first sight,i still wasn't sure about this book. I mean ,yeah i was curious, but recently i tried to read a few book about bikers and let's just say that those weren't exactly my type(don't try to find which books, cause you won't find them.),so when i saw this one i said:Why not?I have nothing to lose.
And i couldn't stop myself until i finished the book. It was that good, even if my heart broke so many times..But at least i got the chance again to read about a hate-that-transforms-in-love relationship, and,of course, true love between a bad boy and an girl who doesn't know who she (amnesia). Crazy, right? But i loved every single chapter. Why? Because it was full of surprises, crazy moments,bad/happy moments-a roller coaster of moments that turned everything upside down. Good or bad, hell it doesn't really matter. What really matters is the fact that  ,after every messed up thing that happened in this book,i still want more.

“I think you are the most stubborn, overbearing, anger inducing, obnoxious, complicated, and beautiful man that has ever lived.”
“I think you are beautiful, too,” King breathed.”

Doe's life is full of darkness because something happened to her and can't remember who she is or anything from her past, but she is trying really hard to survive . She has a singlr choice :find a biker who will like her or wait until something bad will happen to her. But life puts her in King's way..Or should i say desperation?
King isn't like everyone. After 3 years in prison, all he ever wanted was to show everyone that they should be afraid of him, that he didn't answer to anyone..That he was the bad guy. Until Doe..
You know how it is with a hate-love relationship at first right? All the screaming ,the threatening and all that jazz?Yet somehow ,at some point, thag will transform into something better. Well, heck,i expected that to transform in something better,or else my poor heart.. Yeah,at some point i thought that my heart will explode. And i do not like that,at all.

Hate.Love.Bikers.Best friends. Bad guys. Good Girls.True love. Lies. Truth. And the list is too freaking long.

“I can’t stay away from you anymore. I tried, and I can’t do it. I want you. I need you to tell me all that hesitation bullshit is over and that I can have you. Stop being alive, and start living.”

Despite his bad boy attitude,i knew that King will be the one who will make me want to know more . Bad boy or not,i still liked him enough and my heart broke every single time he made a decision that ended up breaking his heart. Always thinking about the others, tsk, tsk. But i know who he was thinking and i can say that i understand perfectly everything, even if a part of me hates that. I loved those moments when he was acting like a man who was in love, not like an lunatic who wanted to be i  control, yet i can't stop myself wondering if the book would have been the same ..No,it wouldn't have been the same,so i'll stop whising for that, because i really like his bad-boy-obsesed-with-control persona . Despite everything,i knew what King was trying really hard to do:he was trying to get his daughter back, even if he knew that that was a little hard because of his reputation. So,my question: how can i hate him now after knowing what he was fighting for? I can't.

“This place was as confusing as King. Hard edges, unfinished and unrefined, yet mysterious and beautiful in it’s own way.”

Doe-i'm not sure what i feel about her. It was funny how she was driving everyone crazy with her questions ,it made me laugh a lot. Despite that, she was pretty much what King needed in his life-someone who could show him what it means to be loved, not used. She was an amazing character and somehow,(this is a miraclee!!) she's the first female character from a story like this one that didn't make me wish that i could shake some sense in her..Miracle ,indeed.Let's see for how long.
Step by step everything changed. With each chapter i started to learn more about King and at some point i wished that somehow i'll found out the truth about who Doe was.

“Things doesn't always start out the way we want them to. It's how they end that's important.”

Even if i knew that with the truth everything will changed- in a good way or bad way.
There were other two characters in this book that made me laugh a few times- Preppy and Bear.
Preppy-funny guy and loyal. I loved him with all my heart and i wish that i could have a best friend like him.(well, let's just say that i didn't agree with a few things, all related with his way of having fun). Smart, funny and charming-that's how Prepy was until the end. And what happened to him? Heart-breaking and not fair. At all.
Bear? That guy wasn't exactly a favorite of mine, but still i can't ignore him. After all he was always present ,in one way or another. A loyal friend. I don't know what else to write about him.

The last chapters of this book surprised me and i still can't believe what happened. Crazy or not,it was perfect ,even if almost all the time King and Doe were screaming like two lunatics who hated each other. Huh,talk about anger issues.
But the end shocked the heck out of me..I mean, seriously? A kid? How..Why..Speechless.
I want more ASAP!

Review:The Lie by Karina Halle

Their love led to a lie
Their truth led to the end

Brigs McGregor is crawling out from the ashes. After losing his wife and son in a car accident and his job from his subsequent downward spiral, he's finally moving forward, getting a prestigious teaching position at the University of London and a new life in the city. Slowly, but surely, he's pushing past the guilt and putting his tragic past behind him.

Until he sees her.

Natasha Trudeau once loved a man so much she thought she'd die without him. But their love was wrong, doomed from the start, and when their world crashed around them, Natasha was nearly buried in the rubble. It took years of moving on to forget him, and now that she's in London, she's ready to start again.

Until she sees him.

Because some loves are too dangerous to ever indulge.
And some loves are far too powerful to ignore.
Their love just might be the life and the death of them.

“We’re going to fucking burn this world to the ground. And there’s no better way to go than in flames with him.”

Step by step i fell in love with this story.Because a story like this one helps us realize that in life we can lose everything we love, but somehow we get a second chance ,a chance that might be the best thing that could happen to us.
This is not the first time when i've read about Brigs McGregor, but i admit that i wanted to know what happened with him and his family. In Lachlan's story, even if i didn't read much about Brigs, there were a few times when i hoped that maybe i'll get the chance to learn more about him,but somehow my wish came true and here i am writing about Brigs!

“We are forever surrounded by ashes. But we are fire. And fire rises.”

Everything starts with a lie or at least that's what everyone thinks. My opinion?Everything starts with the truth, because the truth about what was happening with Brigs is what changed everything, what made that night turn into a complete disaster.Brigs McGregor is starting to live again ,day by day with the memory of what happened with Miranda and Hamish, blaming himself for something that he couldn't stop, but what he  never thought that would happen again was to see Natasha Trudeau, the one who was involved in all that happened.Somehow, they have to move on and live their lifes, but what if that isn't simple at all? What if the ghosts from the past will destroy everything?

Lie or no lie, what happened after it was the beginning of an wonderful story.

"This was never about the destination, Brigs.
This was just about spending time with you."

Once i started reading i couldn't stop myself.I wanted to know more and i was curious to learn about what happened in the past ,and if everything will turn out like i hoped it will.Well, the story was beautiful and there were a lot of painfull scenes, but every chapter was full of surprises .

Brigs McGregor-i'm not sure how to describe him..A haunted man who was trying to move on with his life, even if he was blaming himself for what happened to his wife and child.I liked Brigs -he was funny, charming and handsome.A man who deserved to be happy...I admit that i hated the moments when he was trying to act like he didn't deserve anything, even if i knew why .
But the real torture begins when he and Natasha Trudeau met again after four years..Well,it wasn't exactly torture..But,yeah...

“You’d think that memories of love would feel just like the real thing, but these memories never feel anything like love. Love is good. Love is kind. Patient. Pure. So they say. Our love was a mistake from the start. A beautiful, life-rendering mistake.”

Natasha Trudeau -an amazing character full of life, but a little naive and blind. But still,i liked her.She was funny, smart and beautiful, but like Brigs, she was blaming herself for a lot of things and i kind of made me want to shake some sens in them both..Hard.

Like in all the books, there is always a bad person who wants to keep everyone apart,in this case it was Natasha's best friend,Melissa. And i hated that girl with all my heart, because i knew from the beginning that something was going to happen because of her.Despite that,i loved reading again about Lachlan,Kayla,Jessica and Donald.
I loved reading those chapters when they were together. They were perfect together and somehow they managed to see through the pain, something that i liked very much.
From the beginning until the end i was fascinated and it was fun reading about how Brigs and Natasha acted when they were near each other.
Painful memories.Guilt.But despite everything,it was a story about true love.About second chances.

Review:Lost and Found (Lost and Found, #1) by Nicole Williams

There’s complicated. And there’s Rowen Sterling.

After numbing pain for the past five years with boys, alcohol, and all-around apathy, she finds herself on a Greyhound bus to nowhere Montana the summer after she graduates high school. Her mom agreed to front the bill to Rowen’s dream art school only if Rowen proves she can work hard and stay out of trouble at Willow Springs Ranch. Cooking breakfast at the crack of dawn for a couple dozen ranch hands and mucking out horse stalls are the last things in the world Rowen wants to spend her summer doing.

Until Jesse Walker saunters into her life wearing a pair of painted-on jeans, a cowboy hat, and a grin that makes something in her chest she’d thought was frozen go boom-boom. Jesse’s like no one else, and certainly nothing like her. He’s the bright and shiny to her dark and jaded.

Rowen knows there’s no happily-ever-after for the golden boy and the rebel girl—happily-right-now is a stretch—so she tries to forget and ignore the boy who makes her feel things she’s not sure she’s ready to feel. But the more she pushes him away, the closer he seems to get. The more she convinces herself she doesn’t care, the harder she falls.

When her dark secrets refuse to stay locked behind the walls she’s kept up for years, Rowen realizes it’s not just everyone else she needs to be honest with. It’s herself.

Reading this book again made me realize  that everyone deserves a second chance and that every girl in this world(Yes,i mean it when i say EVERY girl) deserves a man like Jesse Walker.Because the only way i can describe what happened in this story is : a fairy tail beginning for a girl whose life was twisted.

Usually i pick the stories and i don't fall i love with them so quickly. But i guess when i started reading about a certain cowboy-i couldn't stop myself not to fall in love!
I admit that when i first read this book i was a little uncertain ,that's because of the way it started, but a long the way i started feeling excited and i couldn't stop reading.

Well, the main character has a way to make you want to know more and she keeps you  speechless with her i-don't-care attitude. But even her couldn't resist falling in love once she met someone who made her knees melt and her heart pound in her chest.

This story is about Rowen Sterling-a girl who thought she deserved to be hated by everyone or that she was destined to be alone all her life and never to allow someone to know the reason to why her life changed like that .Why she acted like that nobody knew, until she met the right kind of people who thought she deserved to be loved and protected. She was sent at a ranch-Willow Springs- in order to win her mother's trust and, well, so her dream might become reality.

Truth be told,i liked her.Not because her life was messed up,but because she was smart enough to know that some things could change and that her life could be better.
I laughed out loud so many times because of her sarcastics answers and it made me want to read more.

You know that sometimes when you meet the right person at first you're kind of blind and you start lying to yourself that what you feel for that person is just something that will dissapear in time?(Of course, this happens only in books!).Well, this is exactly what happened when Rowen Sterling met Jesse Walker.

There are cowboys and there are real cowboys .In this case-the real cowboy managed to save the day ,showed someone that she deserved to be loved and managed to make her swoon!Jesse Walker is every girl's dream and more.Well,i admit that when i started reading about him i wanted to know more, more moreeee!Who wouldn't?
Charming, good looking and with a wish to save the lost girl,Jesse Walker -not only saved the day, also became my hero. *sigh*

It's hard not to want to write more and more, but it seems that i'm starting to write things i shouldn't!Yikes.
Also, there where a few characters i liked a lot.I laughed out loud so many times ,and also i never wanted to slap someone soooo bad.Yes ,it happens. But it was worth it.

So,life a Willow Springs-the place where Rowen was sent in order to be redeemed in her mother's eye-wasn't so bad like Rowen thought. But good and bad things can happen, and it seems like the past likes to haunt everyone.

I'll stop here with my review ,but you have to read this boook!ASAP.

“The irony of life is that those who wear masks often tell us more truths than those with open faces.”

Review:A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)

A thrilling, seductive new series from New York Timesbestselling author Sarah J. Maas, blending Beauty and the Beastwith faerie lore.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it... or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!

So..Last night if finished reading ACoTaR and my head was spinning too fast,so i couldn't write a proper review for this book.Even now i still don't know how to start.Hmm.
I started reading this book because i liked the description and the cover, but i have to admit that i wanted to read a new book written by this author. After Throne of Glass i can say that i will read all the books that Sarah will write..So ,yeah,i'm a big fan!
Anyway,ACoTaR wasn't like i expected it to be.It was much better, but when it comes to books about faeries and humans involved i know it will be something incredible. In this case?It was.

Like in Throne Of Glass,we get the chance to read about a character who step by step becomes someone else-someone stronger and eager to show everyone that she wasn't weak and that she could manage to do everything in her powers to save the people she loves. But in this case that character is human and everything starts after she kills an faerie.Well, the comparation between Throne of Glass and ACoTaR ends here, because what happenes next it different.
I admit that at first i didn't know what to believe.I thought that Feyre won't be someone i'll like, because she was so cold and acted like nothing mattered, that nothing could hurt her.But step by step i started to read more about her, about why she was acting like that and why she was trowing herself in the middle of danger without thinking. And i started to like her.Cold or not,she was badass, even if she was human.

“I stepped out of the shelter of my savior’s arm and turned to thank him. Standing before me was the most beautiful man I’d ever seen.”

In this book the world is divided in two:one place for humans and one place for faeries. Why?Because there was a time when faeries had humans slaves and after the war between them everything changed.Feyre is trying to do everything in her powers to not let her family die of hunger, but she never imagined that by killing a wolf, she'll get dragded in Prythian,in the faeries land, accused of killing a faerie. But what happenes there isn't what Feyre expected. In Prythian things aren't better for faeries, because something bad started happening to them ,something that weakened their powers, but it isn't something. It's someone powerfull enough to make all the faeries tremble:Amarantha, the High Queen.

I'm still trying to understand a few things,so it might take a while for me to write my true feelings about this book.I wanted so bad to love this book with all my heart, but there were a few things that were not exactly how i hoped.Between what was happening in the faeries land and what was happening to Feyre in human land,at some point i was a little confused ,but that passed when i found out the reasons behind everything.Huh,well played,Tamlin, even if you confused the heck out of me.
I could say that being dragged in Prythian was the best thing that could have happen to Feyre, after all her family treated her like she wasn't worth anything and i hated them for that.

“I love you,’ he whispered, and kissed my brow. ‘Thorns and all.”

The one who dragged Feyre in Prythian?Well,he annoyed me a lot because he was acting like beast almost all the time and i didn't like that at all.I wanted to shake some sense in him and make him see that faerie or not, everything wasn't just about him.I admit that he had his moments when he was charming and acting like a decent faerie. Those were the moments when i saw what was happening to him and why he was acting like a lunatic all the time!Still..Too bad,Tamlin.

“Do you ever stop being so serious and dull?"
"Do you ever stop being such a prick?" I snapped back.
Dead—really, truly, I should have been dead for that.
But Lucien grinned at me. "Much better.”

And there was Lucien!Oh my.While Tamlin managed to make me want to strangle someone,Lucien was someone who made me laugh a little and made me think that maybe ,yeah maybe,i'll get to that point when i will start to really love this book.Being Tamlin's emissary, there were chapters when i got to read a little more about Lucien. His past was ugly ,but his loyalty to Tamlin was something to admire.

Rhysand stared at me for long enough that I faced him.
"Be glad of your human heart, Feyre. Pity those who don't feel anything at all.”

But the one who stole my heart?Rhysand.Yeah, the bad guy.I'm in big trouble, but still.Rhysand was the High Lord of The Night Court. The one who saved Feyre a few times, but then i didn't know who he was or what he was capable of.Charming,a little funny and very handsome,Rhys had his moments when he was creepy and scary, but the rest ?Perfect.Bad guy or not,he showed from the beginning what kind of guy he was and what he really wanted, and that's something i like.I loved the way he was acting and how he made everything possible in order for Feyre to get a chance to win Amarantha's trials.Maybe,maybe-i hated him a little bit when i thought he was just a bad guy,but everything changed big time!My point:favorite character and all the jazz!

“My priority would be to protect my family -- and I would have picked whatever side could keep them safest. I hadn't thought of it as a weakness until now.”

Nestea and Elain,Feyre's sisters, the only characters i disliked, beside Amarantha. They were acting like everything was Feyre's fault, like she wasn't the little sister. And that's something i didn't like at all.Feyre was too good for them.
Amarantha?Crazy and hungry for more power, but more hungry to have the only faerie who didn't want her:Tamlin, the High Lord of Spring Court. And i loved reading about her reactions every time Feyre won a trial, but the best reaction was when Feyre told her the answer for the riddle.Me wants more of what..

I guess i enjoyed -a little bit- reading this book ,even if i can't say that it ended up on my favorite books list.Too bad,but i guess i expected too much and in the end it wasn't.Still,Throne of Glass is the best.
A lot of things happened in this book, many ups and downs, but it still warms my heart when i read about the impossbile happening, something like:a faerie and a human falling in love.Yeah, that's the impossbile, unthinkable thing that could happen.Just in stories, but still..
