Dylan Paris comes home from Afghanistan severely injured and knows that the one thing he cannot do is drag Alex into the mess he’s made of his life.
When Dylan and Alex are assigned to the same work study program and are forced to work side by side, they have to make new ground rules to keep from killing each other.
Only problem is, they keep breaking the rules.
The first rule is to never, ever talk about how they fell in love.
If you ask me now to describe this book in one word my answer would be:amazing.
Amazing was the first word i said out loud after i read this book.
It wasn't something simple and there were enough moments when i was angry because of the way things happened, but i have to admit that i liked Alex and Dylan.
After everything they've been through somehow they realized that they were meant to be together-Well,at least that was my opinion.
This was not the first book i read about one of the main characters who was in Afghanistan and something bad happened ,so i'm not really surprised about Dylan's attitude, although i know it wasn't all about that.
And Alex.Between having her heart broken by Dylan in the past and almost sexually abused by some guy,at some point i was starting to wonder if she'll ever trust Dylan or any other guy again.Well, let's say that i got my answer after all.
And it was a good one.
I liked Dylan.Despite they way he thought and the fact that he blamed himself for so many things.he was such a nice guy.And stubborn like hell.
He wasn't the only one,but at least Alex tried to help him.She did everything she could.
My favorite moment was when Dylan finally told Alex every single thing he felt about her.It was romantic and beautiful.
Everything that happened in this book from the beginning until the end was mind blowing. From the moment Dylan and Alex met after three years, until the end when they finally could be together and happy.
I'm happy that i could read this amazing story. It was really good and well written.Something incredible and all i have to add is that you have to read this book! You won't regret it.
